Weatherborne produces limited amounts of Pinot Noir, Grenache, Grenache Blanc and Chenin Blanc, from Mendocino and beyond. We believe authenticity and transparency are endangered values in the wine world. Our wines are handcrafted, expressive of place and without pretense. Come taste with us in “downtown” Philo at The Mill.
“Our group of 5 people and 2 dogs had a lovely, leisurely impromptu tasting after lunch at Jumbos. I’ve tasted at a handful of nearby wineries, and love Anderson Valley for being so casual and personable. Weatherborne is both, and a great value.”
“Our second time to Weatherborne to taste wine, enjoy the casual atmosphere, and catch up with the winemaker, Cris. Favorites- Rousanne, Grenache, and of course the Pinot ‘22 and ‘23!”
“We visited Weatherborne yesterday for their "Summer Hangouts" - we ate the most incredible mediterranean feast with an assortment of freshly made delicious dips, pickled veggies, freshly made flatbread, feta, lamb kebabs. It all tasted amazing, we couldn't believe our luck! The wines were also fantastic - especially the Grenache. Cris was very kind and friendly and we enjoyed our conversation. We can't wait to be back.”
“My wife and I have been here several times with friends. We like both wineries on-site a lot but the highlight has been our times sitting at Weatherborne in the side yard with the owner Chris who tells great stories and gives pours excellent wine. It’s an old fashioned vibe and great times and why we love this valley. The winery is not on a vineyard with the views but is a must-visit for us because it’s so good and the owner is so personable.”
“Such a cute family owned and run business. We were there the day after Pinot Fest and they still had the festivities going. Highly recommended!”
