Reasonably authentic Latin-American food in an upscale, yet casual environment.
“Food and service was great. For being downtown price wasn't bad either.”
“Amanda is the true definition of hospitality. As a hospitality manager of 30 years, and still in the corporate field. I was blown away from the moment I sat down to the time, I walked out the door the food was fabulous. The service was amazing. Her personality was absolutely priceless bravo...Whoever hired Amanda should definitely get a pet.On the back, she represents your company and your brand exactly how all corporations would like”
“Great margaritas! Service is friendly and the building is nice and clean. We didn't get a chance to try the food this visit, but will definitely return to do so. If you're thirsty, don't hesitate. Update: Visited again this time for food. The chips & guac is a huge portion, so it is well worth the cost. The tacos were good too, maybe just a bit on the dry side but still yummy. The only downside is it can get pretty loud inside when it is really busy, but thats not a problem at all!”
“So I do have to say this place is really nice the staff was very friendly the food was very beautiful when it came out homemade salsas were delicious and I actually enjoyed my food quite a bit although my wife and my dad did not care for it too much. The homemade dessert was very tasty as well. Not knowing if it was connected or not all three of us did have to use the bathroom quite a bit after this restaurant unfortunately we didn't eat anything else that day. I assumed it was not from this place because everything was very fresh looking and high-end. I also feel that it's kind of pricey for tacos just because I believe that tacos should be a cheap meal because they're very cheap to make. But overall I think this place does a very good job.”
“This place was really nice when it first opened. Understaffed, undertrained, and no one visibly running the show. We ask for chips and guac, the guac never comes, the chips are greasy. The salsas are pretty basic. Neither the quality of the fillings nor the portion size account for the taco prices. When I ask what kind of fish are in the fish tacos they did not know. We were never asked "Corn or Flour" tortillas it's apparently random. The tacos come out and we have to wave someone down for napkins. We're sitting at the bar, ask for the bill, hand over the card and watch the bartender set it down and start cutting limes, sitting there with nothing in front of us and waiting to leave. Just a disaster. I could tell the staff was dying. It's sad because when this first opened it was high quality and grand rapids really hadn't seen anything like it. The tortillas were good.”
