“The food was outstanding! Everything is homemade, fresh and nothing frozen. The owner visited with us which was such a treat. He had passion, energy and clearly is going to make this the best Mexican restaurant in the metro. A wait staff told us about a secret shrimp recipe from some monks in mountainous Mexico that only the owner can make. Well worth the visit!”
“Waitress stated the mango sauce on the chicken wings was very spicy. She offered to give me some on the side. I got the dry rub! So good! Bone in wings. The best part was then dipping in the mango sauce. And it was spicy but just right!! Loved it will order again! We dined out on the new patio chairs!”
“We loved everything we ordered so much that I completely forgot to take photos—which honestly says it all. Every dish was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. The tortillas tasted incredibly fresh, and the elote was absolutely delicious. Our son especially enjoyed the kids’ quesadilla, which really stood out from the typical versions you find at most restaurants. It was made with more authentic cheeses instead of the usual basic cheddar blend, giving it a richer, more genuine flavor. It’s clear the kitchen puts care into even the simplest items, and that attention to detail made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!”
“This is my new clubhouse! I’ve been there three times in one week. It is so warm and cozy. I do know the family that purchased this establishment and hospitality runs in their veins. They pretty much threw out the microwaves and went back to a scratch Kitchen and it comes through!! I almost didn’t want to post a review because I wanted to keep this little secret to myself, but it’s too good not to share. I’ve had a couple things off the menu and actually one thing that isn’t even on the menu yet that was really good. I don’t know exactly what it is, but it was like a slow braised meat in some sort of tortilla. But the women next to me seemed to order everything on the menu so I got to see how it all came out and they said they really enjoyed their meals. I didn’t know them, but this is the type of place where you can just sit down at the welcoming bar and end up making new friends. Oh, and they have a great happy hour!”
“We went for a trial run dinner with the new owners. The food was great. Fresh & flavorful. The atmosphere feels more upbeat & updated. We’re really excited to have them in the neighborhood. I can’t wait to see what they make out of it!”
