“Had a great experience at Mantra by Indian Garden! The restaurant has a really nice, modern vibe—perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. We didn’t eat meat that day, so we ordered paneer dishes instead—and honestly, they were amazing. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and just as satisfying as any meat dish. You definitely don’t feel like you’re missing out. The presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted fresh and authentic without being too heavy. And their mango lassi was so good—creamy, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the meal. Service was attentive, and the overall experience felt a bit more elevated than your typical Indian restaurant. Definitely a place I’d come back to—and highly recommend, even if you’re going meatless!”

“Very impressed by the food. Great authentic tasting Indian food with a lot of flavor and depth. We ordered the Lamb Vindaloo which was fiery and full of flavor. It had tender pieces of boneless lamb which were cooked perfectly. We ordered it spicy and it delivered an extra kick. The Egg Curry was also flavorful, but the eggs (4 pieces) seemed to be overcooked and slightly rubbery. The curry itself was delicious though. The garlic naan was cooked perfectly. The Goat Biriyani was excellent. The soft fluffy rice full of complex flavors was perfectly accompanied by pieces of goat which were cooked well. Plenty of meat in this dish. The cocktail selections are good. We ordered 1 Indian beer (Taj Mahal) and 1 cocktail (Goan Sunrise). Both drinks were good and a compliment to our dinner. The portion size was the most impressive attribute of the restaurant. Every dish served about 2-4 people which was great since we had leftovers to bring home and enjoy the following day. The service was a little on the slower side for ordering food and there were no check ins during the meal, but nothing to complain about. The food came out relatively quickly and we were able to enjoy our food while it was hot. The restaurant has a great ambience and the decor is great. Parking may be slightly limited, but there is street parking if the lot is full. There's plenty of seating inside the restaurant but it does get busy during dinner hours. We had about a 10-15 minute wait before being seated. The restaurant is clean and the food tastes fresh. The food is priced fair relative to the portion size. Overall excellent experience and we're glad we tried this place. Definitely will be adding this restaurant into our rotation of restaurants to dine at.”

“We had a really nice experience here. Even though it was very busy, the service was excellent and the staff was quick and friendly. All the main dishes come with a side of rice, which makes the meal very filling. What we tried: 😍Dahi Bhalla – Very soft and fresh with sweet yogurt and tasty chutneys. Perfect balance of flavors. 🐔Bhuna Chicken – Full of flavor and nicely cooked. The gravy was rich and went really well with the rice. Just loved it. 🩷Mangalorean Paneer – The highlight of the meal! Creamy, coastal-spiced gravy with fresh, tender paneer that absorbed all the flavors wonderfully. The restaurant gets quite busy, especially on weekends, so we recommend making a reservation in advance. Highly recommend! 🌟”

“Our first time at Mantra and very close to O’Hare. Excellent service and the servers are very accommodating. Everything is freshly cooked. The ambiance is very relaxing and well maintained and their display of arts. The food was amazing too and delicious. It was just us two and the quantity of food is plenty. Highly recommend to try if you are in the area. Was a busy night and we got seated but would advise making reservations!”

“Food was good and service is good 😊 by mr Rupesh as he was great friendly and polite as well. Ambience is good 👍🏻 for evening set up but price seems to be quite higher than any restaurant Around the city for the same standard. Samosa was good and mango lassi is good with small quantity. It’s definitely a place to try if you are in and around the city ….. good work”
