No Coast Sushi

“The food was impeccable with amazing service as always but what really took our experience this evening to another level was the one on one engagement that Josh had with our 8 year old autistic son when he chose to sit at the sushi bar. He struggles with his speech and warming up to people but Josh was genuinely engaged in this moment and to see such a genuine care for an 8 year old who was just excited to get his tuna roll was an experience I won’t soon forget. You can’t teach this level of heart and intentionality. Food quality is important and yes it was amazing but what mattered most was leading with kindness this evening. “We had a nice dinner at No Coast. The Goyza were excellent and clearly house made as was the Kimchi. The sushi was good. California roll and hand rolled spicy tuna roll which was not very spicy. IMO sushi should be warm rice with cold fish. The rice was cold. The miso soup starter was delicious and warming on a cold day. The Ramen with pork and egg was very good and the portion was large with a nice piece of grilled pork in the bowl. The manhattan was good and they had my favorite beer - Kirin Ichiban in the large bottle. Service was attentive and excellent. We will return.”

“We door dashed no coast tonight… super disappointed. This is usually our go to spot for vegetarian sushi. Idk who is rolling yalls sushi tonight but half my roll fell apart, it’s very clear whoever it was doesn’t give a damn.”
