“We visited for our 20th anniversary and were not disappointed. The "Halibut Hraime, Tahini, Chermoula" entrée was exceptional, without question the best fish dish I've ever had. Every element was perfectly balanced, with incredible flavor and presentation. It made our special occasion even more memorable. If I were a Michelin judge, this restaurant would be well on its way to earning two stars based on this dish alone.”

“New fav unlocked? First time tonight at Petit Socco and I have to say I was very impressed. Everything was right: let's start with the place, yes it is small but you know it when you book it's also what makes it intimate. The light is perfect, nice decor, and then noise level is just right. Kudos to the choice of music too. From start to finish, everything we ate was just right, different tastes, different textures but always on point and perfectly balanced. If I really had to pick one dish I'd probably vote for the desert ( almond cake, strawberry, crem, basil). Not too sweet nor too fat ( like most north americain deserts). It was balanced, sweet enough, a little pinch of salt, a little pinch of salt, just great! The service is also probably the best we had in Winnipeg, present, careful, discrete, never overwhelming. She is always there to fill in your glass, buj t respects your privacy. An extra kudo to the bathroom, cozy, nice and smells so good. Now if I really had to find aread of improvement, I'd work on the wine ( but I get that for a small restaurant it's not simple) only one choice of white by the glass and not the best wine. But that's really if I had to be picky. I am excited to go back and try a new menu 🤩”

“Absolutely lovely place to enjoy dinner and good company. The atmosphere is intimate which is perfect for a relaxed evening out. It’s clear this is a favorite spot in the community, as reservations are usually needed most evenings (a sign of how well-loved it is) Parking is simple and stress free which makes the whole experience even smoother. A true gem for anyone who appreciates great food in a welcoming and small locally owned spot.”

“Petit Socco is a gem of a restaurant, a small precious space with seating for only 10 people. The husband and wife team run two seatings a night and reservations are hard to come by. Food is delicious and service is good. At $100+ per person it's not a place I'd go regularly but definitely a great place for special occasions.”
