“I recently hosted my baby shower at Picco, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. A few months before the event, I reached out to inquire about hosting a private party. Rachelle, the owner and event manager, responded promptly and was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. Communication was easy, and we quickly secured a date and discussed the general details. A few weeks before the shower, she met with me to go over everything in depth, helping plan the layout of the space to accommodate games, gifts, a backdrop, and all of the other baby shower essentials. On the day of the event, Rachelle and her team absolutely exceeded every expectation. The setup was exactly as we had discussed, and everything looked fantastic. Our servers, Frances, Catherine, and Ryan, were attentive, friendly, and incredibly efficient. Bartenders Kelly and Sarah kept drinks flowing and made it easy for guests to grab a beverage without ever having to wait. The food was outstanding, the buffet was continuously refreshed, and the service was seamless from start to finish. Every detail was handled with care, allowing me to relax and enjoy the day with my family and friends. I highly recommend Picco for any private event. The entire team went above and beyond, and they helped make my baby shower a truly memorable celebration.”
“Quite the interesting place I only had takeout and only wings, but they were exceptional in comparison to everything else I’ve had in the last three weeks. Used to be a bank and it’s got quite the ornate ceiling. It’s got the old vault door open. It’s quite the interesting place.”
“My wife and I have lovingly supported Picco's Boston's South End location for close to 16 years, so when the opportunity arose to visit their new spot in Marlborough, we jumped at the chance. My family and I ordered our usual: a Chicken Caesar Salad and a large Pepperoni Pizza. It was as if we were back in the South End! The flavor profiles were identical to what we’ve come to admire—and even crave. Picco, hands down, serves our favorite Caesar salad and pizza! Their sourdough crust is life affirming. But it doesn't stop there. We love their seasonal side dishes, and if you have the chance to order their Fish Tacos, DO IT! Delicious is an understatement. Now, the space! My goodness, it's a historic gem. It offers a beautifully dramatic yet cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a date night, dinner with co-workers or a group of friends, or a family outing. Great beer, wine, & hooch selections. When it comes to ice cream, we've tried well over 15 flavors over the years, but their PB Chip is otherworldly! Do yourself a favor and eat here.”
“Wow oh wow! I have been a die hard PICCO fan ever since I was introduced to their Boston location 8ish years ago. I learned they were opening Marlborough a little over a year ago. I recently moved to NJ and came to visit MA this weekend and I knew I had to stop into their new location. The atmosphere of the new location is warm and inviting with beautiful ceilings and decor down to the bathroom wallpaper/wall art. Our waitress was kind and made great suggestions to add for our meal. The experience of the restaurant felt just like their Boston location. I love that they’ve added the ice cream parlor for this location, yet you can still order ice cream from the main dining area. The Alsatian tastes just like how I remember from the Boston location, and the ice cream options were delicious. I can’t wait to come back the next time I am in MA - I will be dreaming about the Alsatian and banana ice cream until then. Kudos to the chef, owners, and staff in between 💚”
“Had dinner here with my friend on a Sunday. The salad was lovely with the piece of mozzarella on top. The pierogies were soft, flavorful, and the onions complimented them well. The meatballs seemed small and were cut up. I prefer large whole meatballs. They tasted good and had plenty of cheese on top however. The rigatoni alla vodka was excellent. The shells were cooked nice and al dente and the sauce was rich and flavor. No drops left on the plate. Had the sausage fennel & ricotta pizza, the Alsatian pizza, and a CYO pizza with mozzarella, goat cheese, and provolone. The latter was my favorite, I love cheese. The pizza comes a slightly well done. The crust was soft while still crunchy and I love the unique toppings they offer. The calzone was my personal favorite item. It was filled with ricotta and the server recommended onions, mushrooms, and pepperoni; 9.5/10. So Good! The blueberry soda tastes like you would expect. A bit too sweet for my liking but I enjoyed it. The pecan toffee chip ice cream was amazing. I've not had a flavor quite like it in a while. Also had a root beer float which was underwhelming. The server whose name escapes me was kind and well attentive. Overall, an enjoyable meal and atmosphere. My friend insisted on paying so I cannot comment on the price/value, but the food was excellent. I would go again.”
