“Happened upon this place after the Vail Craft Beer Fest. The entire staff looked great in traditional German/Austrian attire. The service was so friendly and the I door seating and patio were both beautiful. The schnitzel and pork shank were so good and I highly recommend!! If you are in Vail Village do not pass up Alpenrose great food great for families and a dessert display that was amazing.”

“Loved this place so much that after having lunch here, we booked it for the same day for dinner. Alpenrose has such a warm vibe - cozy, rustic, and full of charm. The atmosphere is perfect after a day in the mountains: candlelit, inviting, and instantly relaxing. The food is true comfort cuisine, rich and flavorful without being heavy. Everything we tried tasted homemade and authentic. Great prices too, given it’s in the heart of Vail Village. Service was genuinely friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. A great spot in Vail for a cozy evening and delicious Alpine dishes. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely amazing experience. The food was incredibly delicious, and the staff was very polite, attentive, and welcoming. Honestly, this was the best food I’ve had in the United States. I personally ordered the Coq au Vin, apple strudel, and sauerkraut — everything was perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and truly memorable. You can really feel the quality and care in every dish. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. I will definitely be coming back.”
