“Honestly incredible spot. A bit overpriced on the regular menu, but the Michelin tasting menu was super fair! We started with the dip sampler and the feta and babaganous were incredibly creamy and delicious. The hummus from the tasting menu was HUGE and delicious, left nothing on that plate! The NY strip steak was laughably small, but it was well cooked and flavorful. The chicken bowl was the better option, layered with flavor and a healthy dose. The baklava dessert was incredibly sweet and perfectly flaky! Moral of the story, don’t waste time on the regular menu (they will miss your orders anyways) but get that Michelin tasting menu ($45 PP) for the best food.”
“We had such a great date night here. We ordered a few mezzes with pita, including the trio (baba ghanoush, labneh, and htipiti), plus hummus, lamb kebabs, and a melted cheese mezze. Everything was delicious, and the whole experience felt fun and lively. My favorite mezze was the htipiti, it had a nice kick that I loved, and the labneh was also excellent. Baba ghanoush usually isn’t my go-to because the smoky flavor can be a bit overpowering for me, but I really enjoyed this one. It was well-balanced with great flavor and no smoky flavor. Our server was kind and gave great recommendations. It seemed like he’s been there a while and really knows the menu. The restaurant can get a bit loud, but overall it has a great atmosphere. Excited to come back and try a few more items! They have outdoor setting as well. Parking is only street parking but we didn't have an issue finding a spot.”
“Went for a lovely lunch with my in-laws here! The cocktails were unique and amazing. The food was tasty, but didn’t particularly standout compared to other Mediterranean restaurants in Denver.”
“Really lovely hostess and host. Seemed like genuinely nice folks after my quick conversations with them! They were helpful recommending dishes and excited about Denver Restaurant Week. The lamb here is probably the second best I’ve ever had (next to Zahav)—it’s worth coming just for that I think. The rest of my meal was pretty mediocre unfortunately. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the widely criticized service charge…. I always feel awkward when a 20% service charge is added and I’m told I need to tip on top of that. I am all for paying folks appropriately, but please price your menu accordingly so that your customers don’t have to deal with this awkward interaction at the end of their meal. Am I supposed to tip my normal 20% on top of the 20% service charge? That feels steep. Especially when the markup on my meal price to the out the door price was already 40+%. All that being said, I’m sure I’ll be back for some more of that lamb, and I’ll try different menu items to supplement it next time! Rated this a 7.9 on beli.”
“We have visited this restaurant twice. Our first experience was great, which is why we returned. During that visit, we noticed the good quality of the drinks and food, although the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price. The service was outstanding, both the waitress and bartender were very helpful and attentive. Our second visit, however, was less smooth. The host seemed overwhelmed, and when we asked for a table, we were told we could wait either at the bar or in the neighboring restaurant. We chose to sit at the bar and ordered drinks, the bartender was friendly and helpful. We waited there for our table, and asked twice about it; even though the table was ready the host was more preoccupied with staff than helping us, so we ended up having dinner at the bar. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, we found a hair on one of the plates. The bartender handled the situation very professionally, arranged a discount with the host, and was understanding throughout. However, the host brought the check without acknowledging or apologizing for the incident, which was disappointing. Overall, while the food and drink were great, the inconsistent service during our second visit affects our overall experience.”
