“Such a booming place with amazing staff and food!! No matter the wait time ( if any ) getting seated was a breeze. Server was quick and attentive and my plate was top tier. I will 100% come back again.”

“Okay, I actually didn’t expect this place to be so good. We picked it mainly because it is close to SIFF Cinema. But wow, they absolutely nailed it. We had halibut for the main course and tiramisu for the dessert. Both great. The tiramisu was 10 out of 10. Way above Seattle norm cuz food is so bad here. Also, Saul was truly an amazing server! Could not have asked for a better server. So attentive and thoughtful with excellent attitude. Will definitely come back!”

I ordered the pollo marsala, and honestly, it was excellent. The chicken was tender and the marsala sauce had a rich, balanced flavor that didn’t feel too heavy. You can tell when a dish is done right, and this was one of those. I also had the minestrone soup, which really surprised me—in a good way. It tasted fresh, hearty, and like it was made from scratch, not something rushed out of a kitchen. What stood out most was how consistent everything felt. Nothing flashy, just really solid food and a comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to sit, relax, and enjoy your meal. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Assaggio if you’re looking for a quality Italian spot in Seattle.
