“We fancied going for a Sunday roast, had a look on Google and found Blacklock. On arriving it’s based in a cellar, which the setting was very nice. we chose cocktails for the drinks, which were sublime, I had beef ribs for starter and the wife had crayfish cocktail. Which were delicious. For the main,we went for the Sunday roast sharer, which was massive and definitely recommend. You get 3 meats, lamb, beef and pork. All were cooked perfectly. The service was very warm, friendly and attentive. Keep up the good work. We will be back to try the steaks and burgers soon 😃 Give it a try.”

“We LOVE Blacklock! We come every time we have a special occasion and came back for both our birthdays and to celebrate our new house. Was amazing as per, Blacklock is our death row meal and we’ve sent a whole load of people to try. Amazing margaritas, pigs head on toast and steak. We took the cheesecake home for pud and got that free along with the cutest decorated plate and Prosecco. Josef was amazing and can only thank him so much for his lovely service! We love you Blacklock!!!”

“Had a really lovely experience at Blacklock Manchester. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming, and my server Joseph was excellent — professional, friendly, chatty, and very helpful with recommendations for food and drinks. The restaurant is beautiful, with a cosy and homely atmosphere, and everyone made me feel very welcome. It was also lovely to see the manager doing check-backs, which added a really personal touch. The food was absolutely delicious — I ordered the fillet steak medium rare and it was excellent. The Broccoli & Walnut Salad was especially incredible as well. Overall, a fantastic experience with great hospitality, and I would definitely recommend it”

“Sunday roast done properly. A heady mix of beef, lamb and pork, with all the trimmings you’d want — and bottomless gravy, which is always a win. Plenty for two (despite the empty plate!) — we were planning to have dessert but couldn’t fit it in, which gives me a good reason to go back. For a Manchester roast and everything you get on the plate, this felt well priced. Quality across the board was solid and the meat was the standout. It was very busy, but the staff handled it well considering how rammed it was. Still had a good atmosphere and felt like a proper nice way to spend a Sunday. We went for the house red — not the cheapest on the list, but really nice and easy to drink. “We went to Manchester for business trip with my colleagues for 4 days. We tried different restaurants every time when we had our dinner and lunch. Particularly this one has beeen the best experience in Manchester.I know this place from London. I have been to couple of their branch there . I like the steaks and burger there.Atmosphere is not bad. Service was very good apart from the girl who brought the drinks. We were 6 of us and we all had different type of steaks and also burger. They were all so tasty.service is standard in every branches of black lock. Therfore you don’t need to be scared. Over all it was great experience with my colleagues Recommended”
