“Got the smash burger and fish and chips. Both tasty but burger for the win. The chips were amazing! Also got the wings and meatballs- both dishes phenomenal. Restaurant was clean, sleek and welcoming. Was tad hard to find when coming from the opposite side of where the window sign is posted but asked the restaurant across the street and they pointed us to the right door. It's connected to the pizza place, bread Street is upstairs with the pizza downstairs.”
“A great restaurant to visit with friends and family right next to St Paul’s. Beautiful fun modern interior, delicious food, and a great team. I had the Wagyu beef meatballs to start, pork ribs with a side of fries for my main and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert - all absolutely perfect. Also had a pink strawberry gin and tonic that was delicious too! If you’re in the area and looking for a great place to eat - this is it!!”
“What a restaurant! We’ve wanted to eat here for some time and it didn’t disappoint. The service was incredible, super friendly and warming. The food was some of the best we’ve had! The Tuna Steak special was my personal favourite! It was my Wife’s birthday and they brought some ice cream and a chocolate happy birthday on a plate which was a lovely touch! Cannot recommend enough! Pricey though so be prepared lol!!”
“Good , just good. The Why? GOOD - View is stunning 10/10 . The price point is accessible for a limited budget folks and those with more cash can ante up . As such = there is accessible quality for all budgets (in these trying times) BAD : loud terrible quality musak , is this a dance club? Who picked this ? No music would be better . the server even had issues hearing us. FOOD= Great versus Weak . Great :waigu burger / steak.= Price of a burger just above that offered everywhere else in London at restaurants and pubs , but just a few more pound . Steak cut was great juicy cooked to order. WEAK 1. macaroni and cheese = bland expecting a cheddar tartness that was not there . 2. fries were warm = can’t do simple fries ? Come on! ( Chicken hub did hot fries a few blocks away.) Brioch bun with butter was amazing ! but at 11 quid It would be “ shambollick” to be otherwise. To add , I tried hard not to bias my experience being seated at the bar .Being promised a table just added raw garlic to as a garnish . (we knew wasn’t happening) Excuses such as “ a busy night” and “ working out the kinks” don’t make the horse pill easier to swallow. Would I go again take friends ? sure, absolutely. Truthfully , it’s the hype to do “ it” bread street the series” more than the food.”
“Went on Sunday night in a party of two without reservation. There were only few tables. The decoration was cool. The food wasn’t exceptional or great. It was simply just acceptable. The aged dry roast beef was kind hard to chew probably because I asked for “well done” instead of “medium rare” The fish and chips were just ok and we barely ate. It was greasy but not crispy or tasty. The desserts were good but a bit too sweet. The atmosphere was modern and we could talk without shouting The service was acceptable though not as fast as it should be”
