“This review is a bit overdue. My family of 7, had a reservation on May 6th., at 6p.m., in the private dining room, for my daughter’s 30th birthday celebration. Todd, our server, greeted us immediately. We were handed menus that said, “Happy Birthday Summer” at the top, which was quite impressive. Todd explained the menu to us in great detail, which was rather amazing! My daughter and I started out with these delicious Expresso Martinis, that were perfect. We each had the 4 course meal, which was outstanding I might add!!! Each plate was well presented, and full of flavor. I greatly appreciated that they fully made sure there were no nuts of any type, in my food, as I have an allergy. Joseph, the server assistant, was on top of his game, he never allowed our water to drop half glass, he made sure our table was clean and cleared during all service. Both Todd and Joseph’s performances were beyond outstanding!!! The food was exceptionally delicious. Our over all experience here, for my daughter’s birthday, was extraordinary!!! If you want fine dining, excellent food, and a wonderful atmosphere, and outstanding service, I highly recommend visiting Cafe Monarch, you will not be disappointed! Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday celebration absolutely perfect!!!”

“The ambiance was superb. The lighting was elegant. The Greek/Roman/ Italian columns were intriguing. My eggs were fried over medium and hard when I ordered over-easy. My filet came out medium when I ordered rare plus. A cheese rolled cracker with cream cheese was a complimentary appetizer. Plus, they served me a decadent chocolate dessert in celebration of my completion of cancer radiation treatment.”

While this review may be late, the experience the Cafe Monarch team created for our engagement dinner has stayed with us and remains one of the most special parts of our engagement journey. I chose Cafe Monarch to celebrate in January 2025 after getting engaged in Scottsdale, and it could not have been a more perfect place for such an important milestone occasion. Made reservations ahead of our trip as it was a surprise proposal. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt incredibly romantic and intimate. The team created a wonderful space for us on the patio by the fireplace, which made the evening feel even more special. The food was outstanding, and each course felt carefully prepared and beautifully presented. Throughout the meal, they surprised us with thoughtful add-ons that made the experience feel incredibly personal and memorable. What stood out most was how attentive the team was to the details. They remembered that we had gotten engaged earlier that day and even where we were visiting from, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and celebrated. The service was warm, attentive, and never rushed, allowing us to truly enjoy the evening together. We loved that dinner felt like an experience rather than just a meal. If you are celebrating something special in Scottsdale, we highly recommend Cafe Monarch. “From the moment we walked in, the experience was unforgettable. We were welcomed by two lovely ladies who even took professional-style photos for us, such a special and thoughtful touch that set the tone right away. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning. The candlelight created the most romantic vibe, and every detail made the space feel warm and inviting. But what truly stood out was the hospitality everyone made us feel right at home. Our server, Sam, was phenomenal attentive, kind, and on point the entire time. Huge shoutout as well to the sommelier Paris, who helped us pick the perfect Pinot Noir for our celebration he truly elevated the experience. And I have to mention Jayden, our food runner ☺️ so polite, friendly, and incredibly professional in the way he described each dish. You can tell there’s real pride in the service here. This place will forever be one of our go-to spots for celebrating special moments. Such a beautiful experience from start to finish 🤍✨”

“Everything from start to finish was just perfect!! Our server Scott was absolutely amazing. I brought my best friend here for an early B’day celebration. Scott welcomed us with sparkling wine. My friend is vegetarian and it was wonderful that the restaurant had a full vegetarian tasting menu. Each dish was expertly prepared. The flavors were on point and the presentation was flawless. Their wine selection is fabulous. Overall, had such a e wonderful experience. Highly recommend this place.”
