“We came to the Canal Club as a 12 person bachelorette group, and our server Alexis was very kind and attentive to our group! The queso and guacamole was phenomenal! I ordered the chicken al pastor tacos and the pineapple flavor was so fresh! The craft cocktails the group ordered were very tasty as well. Definitely recommend for a date night, girls night, or bachelorette fancy dinner!”
“Canal Club was a fantastic brunch spot to end a weekend getaway with friends. I’d say 4.5 stars is appropriate. Pros: -Churro donuts were really fresh and delicious. The guava jam was a nice touch. -Ordered the pork chilaquiles and they were fantastic! Highly recommend. -Vibes are immaculate. The design is done very well. Cons: -Service wasn’t necessarily bad by any means, just not overly impressive. Our server was training a new employee and seemed a little off their game, but pulled it together with a friendly and likable personality. -One of the ladies I was with ordered the Peruvian hash, with choice of poached eggs. The poach was AWFUL. Basically boiled eggs. I would have asked for them to make more if it were me. A bad poach is a huge pet peeve of mine and is a quick fix, but she was hungry and hot in the sun and didn’t want to wait for it to be corrected. Maybe not a con for some, but it would be nice if they had more (or larger!!?) umbrellas on the patio. We were all squishing as close together as possible to share the small but of the large table that was actually getting shade from our table’s umbrella.”
“Canal Club is a fun, high-energy spot with a beautiful space and great cocktails. The food is flavorful, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for a day out in Old Town. Lively, stylish, and worth a visit. The property is gorgeous and giving tropical zen vibes all around.”
“This is a great spot! Atmosphere is relaxing, inviting and easy to talk. All items ordered were amazing. Best bacon we have had in the valley. All of our menu items were on point: burger, tostones, rum cake and Caesar salad.”
“Amazing atmosphere, especially to the rear of the restaurant near the pool. Pleasant enthusiastic service. Really good paella. Tostones were generously portioned but a little tough, we believe it would have been better if they were crisper like crackers or a bit thinner. Unfortunately the Rhinestone lager tasted like sparkling green tea with a slimy dishwater like texture. Very nice to walk around the pool area.”
