Nestled in the foothills of Carefree, comes your new favorite spot: Confluence restaurant. Reimagined from chef Brandon Gauthier, the menu will still have a focus on fresh, and local but will be more of an elevated and modern cuisine. A casual lunch spot will turn in to a wonderful date night dinner place. Chef Brandon, in his “spare time”, enjoys fly fishing and this is where the name was dreamed up. Along with his wife, who will be running the front of the house, they felt the word Confluence has meaning. Two rivers coming together: they both trained for many years under Chef Binkley, and have now merged into one and making their dream happen, owning their own restaurant. Join them for a wonderful experience and amazing food.
“A really nice little, family owned, neighborhood gem. High quality ingredients, wonderful textures and delicious flavors. The menu is limited and it's a bit pricey, but the food is worth it.”
“Confluence restaurant in Carefree for lunch. The food is absolutely delicious. We had the Po Boy and the Wagyu Pastrami sandwiches. Deliciious, semi-spicy and each ingredient carefully crafted. The truffle ketchup and fries are to die for. I didn't get my pic until both my wife and I had our share of the fries and ketchup, so that's only ½ of the full order. Prices are very fair for the quality and quantity of the meal. About $25 per.”
“Our favorite place! Victoria and Brandon are a husband and wife team that have honed their business to perfection. Brandon just added Guinea hen liver mousse and a delightfully refreshing butter lettuce salad. The mousse explodes with flavor as it sits on your tongue… seriously! You must go! The menu photo is just part of the offerings…”
“Well, we made it back to try the five course dinner, and it did not disappoint. Victoria and Brandon, husband, and wife, and also the owners of this establishment. I have to admit I haven’t seen a better oiled machine, than the two of them at this restaurant. Super clean organized unbelievable, the whit mushroom soup was delicious. We honestly cannot wait to go back and partake in the chef experience again. I WOULD RECOMMEND”
“Last night was our first time dining here and we did the chef’s tasting menu… every course was amazing and inventive. The local Guinea hen was such a surprise, and was prepared so inventively. Our favorite of the evening was a tossup between wagyu beef cheek appetizer and the pumpkin cheesecake dessert. They also brilliantly paired the meal with wines throughout the course. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming too! We will definitely be back, especially since the menu changes with the seasons and with with whatever gem ingredients the chef sources.”
