While we love dogs, we can only accept trained service animals (not emotional support animals) both in our dining room as well as on our outdoor patio. We appreciate your understanding.
“The food was so amazing. I have no additional desires for the food, as it exceeded all my expectations. My boyfriend and I came here to use my Chase Sapphire Reserve dining credits, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the vibes in this restaurant are quite family friendly and lively in music, despite what the price of the food suggested. Drinks were excellent, and we tried three. Got the bread rolls, broccolini, mushrooms, pot pie, lamb breast, and crème cake and they were all divine. Service was slower than desired, as they were quite busy, but the food is well worth the wait. Also, our waitress was the coolest woman with dyed hair and bleached eyebrows. I hope to come back someday!”
“Really enjoyed our meal at Camélia and definitely think it’s worth visiting. This was actually our second time here. We didn’t order anything especially extravagant, but still had a very satisfying dinner for around $50 per person, which felt quite reasonable considering the quality and atmosphere. Parking was also surprisingly convenient and fairly priced for the area — the parking structure across the street was about $5/hour, and Camélia’s own valet was only $12. The food itself was excellent. The restaurant blends French cuisine with subtle Japanese influences, which makes the dishes feel lighter, fresher, and less heavy than traditional French food. Everything tasted refined without being overwhelming or greasy. Besides the dishes in the photos, we also ordered the uni and tuna toast and the chicken liver toast, and both were absolutely delicious. You can tell there’s real attention to balance and flavor in the cooking. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. We’ll definitely come back again.”
“The chicken liver toast was great. Only two bites per order. Note: Portion sizes are small. Everyone else got three slices for their peckin duck, and we only got two, that felt odd. And not big slices either. Definitely sus. Their weakness is the dessert menu. It was too easy to skip. Overall it was good, quite pricy, but you won’t experience this menu elsewhere and I appreciate that.”
“We came here for a farewell and due to the group size had to accept the set menu. The menu seems to be printed daily and features creative French - Japanese cuisine fusion. The shared plates arrived promptly, starting with a tangy salad, followed by a Croque Madame on a light Shokupan bread. The main courses were a crispy sage Mediterranean sea bass with rice, and a well marinated pork chop with sweet potato gratin. The coconut jelly with fresh berries wrapped up the meal. Each dish was pleasing in its own way and the flavours were mostly mild, with an accompanied ingredient that gave it a kick. Attentive and efficient service in a classy, lovely setting. As one person didn't come, they wanted to charge for the number of people booked. Finally they let us off though. We sat in the heated courtyard surrounded by pretty lights but away from other diners. A worthwhile visit to experience this establishment.”
“I went to Camelia with high expectations and left extremely disappointed, especially for a $200+ spend. This review is mostly about the food. Of all the dishes we ordered, the only one we enjoyed were the oysters, which I imagine is hard to mess up. The $39 uni pasta was by far the most disappointing dish. It was about five bites of, not al dente, but undercooked spaghetti with a few small pieces of uni placed on top. The sauce had virtually no uni flavor at all, making the dish feel both poorly executed and wildly overpriced. Hoping we could salvage the night with dessert, we ordered one of each. One of the mochis was still frozen solid, with a filling that tasted like blended bananas. It felt unfinished and careless, and, again, not something you'd expect from a restaurant at this level. Overall, the dining experience was unmemorable, and at their price point, execution fell short. I had much higher expectations and wouldn’t return.”
