“Ambience & Service: went there during Memorial Day weekend to celebrate our anniversary and birthday. You could tell this is a top tier restaurant immediately by how everyone greets you there. We got to chat and spend a really nice night there. I even got a customized card and complimentary drink as gifts from them. Food: really enjoy their house made bread, and I love their wagyu. Everything else is pretty good but not too impressive for the price point.”
“We had a delightful experience visiting this restaurant. The food was truly amazing, and the service was wonderful. The environment was also very pleasant, and everything was beautifully presented. Parking was convenient, as there was a spacious parking area behind the restaurant. My only suggestion, while appreciating all aspects of our visit, concerns the 4% service fee charged for employee health insurance. It felt a bit out of place to itemize this on the bill, and the option for customers to request its removal seemed rather unprofessional. While I am happy to tip 20% for excellent service, an additional 4% specifically for employee healthcare felt somewhat excessive. The restaurants should build it in to their food. The customers should not have to incurred this cost. That's why some LA restaurants lost customers because of this fee.”
“What an enjoyable culinary experience! Watching the entire kitchen in action was both a treat and the highlight of the evening. I had a great view, though my partner’s vantage point was more limited. The four-course menu was beautifully presented and delicious throughout. The non-alcoholic pairing complemented each dish perfectly and was well worth it. We were also pleasantly surprised by a few extra treats at both the beginning and end of the meal. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and there was no pressure to upsell additional items. Definitely will return for special occasions.”
“Had an incredible experience at Jeune et Jolie. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They made the entire night feel special. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. You can really tell how much care goes into each course. My favorites were the rib eye and the bread. The rib eye was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the bread on its own was outstanding. The ambiance is intimate and lively, and the whole experience felt thoughtful from start to finish. Definitely a spot worth visiting for a special night out.”
“I had high expectations going into Jeune et Jolie, especially given its Michelin star and reputation, but unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the hype. To start with the positives, the staff was excellent. Service was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm throughout the entire meal. The presentation of each dish was also stunning, with every plate looking like a piece of art and clearly crafted with care. Unfortunately, that is where the experience peaked. While visually impressive, most of the dishes fell flat in terms of flavor. For a restaurant at this level and price point, I expected bold, memorable flavors, but everything leaned surprisingly bland and forgettable. They position themselves as California fusion, which made the wine selection even more disappointing. There was a clear lack of strong California wine representation, and instead the list leaned heavily on French selections that felt just as uninspired as the food. For the price, it simply does not add up. You are paying top tier Michelin pricing without receiving a top tier experience in return. What made it worse is that we were there celebrating a special anniversary, expecting a refined and elevated evening. Instead, the lack of any dress code or atmosphere control completely took away from that. Seeing someone seated in what looked like full beach attire, sandals, a tank top, and a backwards hat, felt completely out of place in what is supposed to be a Michelin starred dining room. It cheapened the entire experience and made the setting feel far less special than it should have been. Overall, while the service and presentation were strong, the food, wine selection, and overall ambiance do not justify the price or reputation. I would not pay to dine here again, nor would I come back.”
