“We had a very enjoyable and pleasant lunch at Knife Pleat. It was a birthday party and there were 11 of us, so we were a bit raucous, we asked to be seated from outside to inside, but the service was very accommodating, and especially the maitre d', who was always unflappable and very hospitable, the paragon of a gentleman. The food was exceptional, as you'd expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. Each course was beautifully and even cleverly, architecturally presented -- you've seen all the photos. However, I thought there just wasn't a je ne sais quoi that would have made each course sublime. But still, overall, 5 star experience.”

The perfectly timed table service for everyone was also impressive and kept our conversation uninterrupted.
