“Fantastic place for lunch. What a wonderful view of Lake Union, able to see the boat planes take off/land. One of the best clam chowder bowls I've ever had. Fresh sourdough bread w/butter hot out of the oven. Calamari was an 8/10. Fantastic draft beer IPA. And Carlos was a great waiter. We couldn't have asked for a better lunch choice while visiting Seattle pre cruise. When we return to Seattle, this will be our lunch GO TO.”
“If you’re in South Lake Union and looking for a seafood spot that genuinely delivers, Duke’s Seafood is the answer. The ambiance strikes that perfect balance — lively enough to feel like a destination, relaxed enough to actually enjoy a conversation. And the servers? Warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about the menu. Hospitality done right. Before we even dove into our order, out came complimentary warm sourdough bread with butter — soft, fresh, and dangerously good. The kind of touch that tells you the kitchen cares about the full experience, not just the entrée. We worked our way through a dip that was bold and flavorful, a clam chowder that was everything Pacific Northwest chowder should be — rich, creamy, and deeply comforting — and then came the tacos. Beautifully presented, generous in size (no skimping here), and absolutely packed with fresh flavor. Honestly one of the best seafood. Everything about Duke’s SLU feels intentional — the food, the vibe, the people serving you. It’s the kind of place that earns a regular customer on the first visit. Five stars without hesitation. Go hungry, leave happy.”
“Dined here alone on a work trip and it was worth going out of the way to get there! My server was very attentive and nice. He brought out hot sourdough bread which was very good! I tried the crab cake sandwich which I enjoyed but I honestly like the seasoned sweet potato fries more! They were definitely the best sweet potatoes fries I have had. The marionberry pie with vanilla ice cream was delicious and the perfect size if you were to share. The views from the patio are nice. I would definitely go back!”
“We enjoyed an amazing meal on the deck by the waterfront. The crab melt, mac and chases, lobster roll were all very tasty. The portions were enough for 2 people. When we were seated we were brought some warm sour dough bread that was delicious. The service was great. The only negative was parking. It was approx $9 to park. As for food I would highly recommend the crab Melt it was delicious.”
“This was my first time to Seattle and this was by far the best restaurant I tried while there. It was actually the best seafood restaurant of anywhere I’ve ever tried. Our server Trey was one of the best servers I’ve ever had! Even the hostess managed to get us a table right away after being told we would have an hour wait. We sat in the patio which was heated and they also offered us blankets to cover up with. All of the food was amazing! We had fresh oysters, lobster roll, salmon, and I ordered the 3 course dinner which ended up being way more food than I would have imagined for the price! I had the Lobster Mobster chowder and I’ve never tried anything like it-so good! I also had the crab “un-cake”, it was soooo good, and came with potatoes and baby broccoli. Even the bathrooms were clean and maintained despite how busy they were.”
