“Fortu is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a fun, elevated dinner in St. Pete. Our server, Vania, made the experience. He was incredibly attentive and really knew the menu and sake list. The shrimp & lobster dumplings were absolutely killer and the Wagyu fried rice is a must-order. The Wagyu ribeye was incredible, perfectly cooked and easily the standout dish of the night. The steak tartare wasn't for us, the egg salad topping overpowered the dish and wasn't what we expected. We'd also skip the Ube Cheesecake next time. It was good, but I’ll stick to all the other amazing dishes. Overall, the food, drinks, atmosphere, and especially the service made for a great night out. Can’t wait to be back and we'll be asking for Vania again.”

“We are celebrating a special birthday & decided to go to Fortu for the first time. From the moment we walked inside we were whisked away to a place seemingly far away, the ambiance and vibe were so electric & enjoyable! We decided to start with drinks & some small plates including Pork Belly, Bluefin Akami Tuna Tartare & Mushroom Dumplings. As we enjoyed our unique drinks, before long our appetizers arrived. Beautiful presentation & super unique creations. They were savory & succulent & really hit the spot. Before long we ordered some different drinks: Hakko Shita (very unique flavor, a flavor reminiscent of Margarita, yet totally unique)… As drinks were enjoyed we realized we needed more in our tummy. We ordered Prime Filet … it was super tender & very satisfying! All the while we were on this culinary journey, we met several other groups of patrons as they sat next to our seats at the bar. What a wonderful experience with great drinks, tasty bites & friendly people! Fortu is definitely on our list of gotta go back soon places!!!”

“Our server Hailey was the sweetest. I give this place 10/5 stars !!! The food was delicious. Really recommend the Japanese sweet potato and mushroom dumplings with the grilled octopus. I didn’t take a picture of the cod or filet but both are good but the appetizers are truly amazing. I had the Sakura blossom as my cocktail choice and it is out of this world. The fragrance and taste was undeniably good. Really recommend!!”

“We went for a family dinner to celebrate my son’s 30th bday. It turned out to be an excellent choice as Fortu exceeded our expectations across the board - food & service were top notch. The menu was suitable for shareables, so we tried a lot of dishes. Notable standouts are the shrimp & lobster dumplings and wagyu gyoza. The star of the meal is the ube cheesecake. Between the purple presentation and exceptional flavor, this may be one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for upscale dining in St Pete, Fortu is ur best choice!”

“AMAZING! 100% will come back again! Came for my sisters birthday dinner and we both got the prie fix meal and it was an amazing choice for a first time visit. All the food was amazing (will definitely get the wagyu gyoza and the iberico pork chop again!!) and the whole wait staff were super attentive. The overall vibe is super chill and a great place to relax and dine. Also offer complimentary drinks for her birthday Plus can do non alcoholic drinks!!”
