“We had an Amazing Brunch Experience at Frida Southwest. My best friend and I decided to try Frida Southwest for brunch on Saturday, and we had such a great experience from start to finish. We didn't have a reservation and were pleasantly surprised that there was no wait at all, which was a great way to start the morning. Our server, Cameron, was absolutely wonderful: fun, friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience even better. Since it was my first time visiting, we were treated to complimentary muffins with icing as a starter, which was such a nice touch and a great introduction to the meal. For appetizers, we ordered the Short Rib Empanadas, and honestly, they were my favorite thing on the menu. They were so incredibly good that I don't even have the words to describe them. I would absolutely come back just for those alone. My friend ordered the Frida Chilaquiles with breakfast potatoes added on. Of course, I had to steal a bite, and they were delicious. The green sauce really elevated the dish and added so much flavor. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles with breakfast potatoes on the side and eggs added. Everything was excellent. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, the waffles were delicious, and the potatoes were a great addition to the meal. Next time we will just order one add on of potatoes because they give you a giant bowl 😁 To top it all off, we ordered the Bottle Mimosa with the trio of juices, which was perfect for brunch. Cameron opened the bottle tableside, and it made the experience feel a little extra special. The atmosphere was fantastic as well. Frida Southwest offers indoor seating, bar seating, and patio seating, so there's something for every vibe. The location is beautiful, and the restaurant itself has a great energy. Our meals came to about $80 per person before tip, which felt reasonable considering the quality of the food, drinks, service, and overall experience. We had an amazing time and are already talking about coming back to try the dinner menu. If brunch is this good, I can only imagine how great dinner must be. Highly recommend Frida Southwest for a fun brunch with friends. We'll definitely be back! 🥂✨🌮☀️🍳”
“The food, drinks, service and atmosphere here are amazing! I had brunch with my friends. We had the spring rolls and the short rib empanadas for appetizers. They were delicious. My breakfast tacos were delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Try the coconut mocha latte if you get the chance. I 100% recommend! Be sure to make a reservation.”
“Wow is all I can say!! They took us to a small back room like a speakeasy away from restaurant more private. The waitress was absolutely amazing!! The food was beautiful & good. The drinks were spot on with flavor & color! I am so glad they put us back there! The front part outside is great too. They have fireplaces with beautiful fur blankets to get cozy in if you get cold. The parking is not easy though. The parking lot directly behind it is paid. It's fifteen dollars an hour!! It has huge potholes and it's just a horrible parking lot for as much as you have to spend. And as soon as you put in your license plate, the countdown is on, they send you a countdown clock to the second!! The giy walking around makes sure you leave as SOON as it's up. The restaurant is so worth it.But the parking is horrible over there!”
“Frida Southwest continues to be one of our go-to brunch spots, and today just reinforced why. We started with the short rib empanadas and chocolate chip muffins—both were really good and a great way to kick things off. For drinks, we had the strawberry matcha (both hot and cold) and a coffee butter hot latte. All of them were solid and a nice switch-up from your typical brunch drinks. For the main dishes, we went with the chicken and waffles and chilaquiles. Everything came out spot on—flavor, portion, execution, all of it. But what really stood out today was the service. Jennifer took great care of us and made the whole experience even better. Consistently good food, great drinks, and top-tier service—this is why we keep coming back.”
“Amazing restaurant which blends southwestern flavors in a modern and upscale way. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of trying this place. I thought the food was enjoyable and the menu to be well thought out. There are vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options provided as well. Where this place shined, I feel, was the desserts. The pistachio chocolate cheesecake was to die for and I think the flavors propelled it to one of my most favorite dishes.”
