“Amazing dinner! Such a lovely restaurant with great tasting food and drinks, ambient atmosphere, and really friendly staff. We had a table for 2 and tried a variety of dishes and drinks which were all served very promptly and well-made. Alessandro and Carlos organised everything really well and made sure we were happy with the food throughout. They were both very friendly and accommodating too. Our waiter Tiffany made the experience really comfortable and positive. She helped deciding drinks and starter choices which was greatly helpful. The music in the background alongside the aesthetic of the decoration gave an authentic Italian feel. I would really recommend the Tiramisu for dessert as a classic choice. As for the mains, the Truffle Pizza and Rib-Eye Steak were so filling and delicious. As for the drinks, they were really well-made and looked quite pretty too! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would visit it again (best BigMamma Restaurant in my opinion) ☺️”
“I had a fantastic time at Gloria in Shoreditch. The restaurant has such a vibrant and lively atmosphere, with beautiful interiors that make the whole dining experience feel special from the moment you walk in. The food was just as impressive as the setting. Every dish was full of flavour, generous in portion, and beautifully presented. The pasta was rich, fresh, and indulgent, with authentic Italian flavours that really stood out. You can tell a lot of care goes into the ingredients and the preparation. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the meal. The energy of the restaurant, combined with the delicious food and excellent hospitality, made it a memorable visit.”
“I could give 10 stars if i could! I don't know where to start. The restaurant is beautiful. From the tables to the plates and the small details that can't make you stop looking around, with the soft music at the background that gives that italian atmosphere. It's like being transported in a different era and country. The food is to die for. We had the lunch set menu + desserts. Every single dish was an explosion of flavours. I could tell the ingredients were fresh. I've never found a restaurant that does the tiramisù as good as mine. I've recommended it to every soul I know and I will definitely go back to taste other dishes from the menu... next time I'll make sure to book the table, because we were lucky to find 1 available. The staff is very nice. Our waiter was so lovely, checking on us but always very discreet”
“Part of the BIG MAMA group, which I definitely recommend to try also in the other locations! However this is not my favourite. The atmosphere is great, lovely cozy place - both upstairs and downstairs are giving good vibes. The staff was great until the very end. All the waiters were very welcoming and attentive. The service was also very fast (when we ordered and when we received the food). Once we finished to eat however we were forgotten. We had to ask to clean the table after 25 minutes that we were waiting, and we had to ask if we could also order some desserts. In addition, the manager was acting unprofessionally with its staff, raising the voice and pointing fingers, right in the middle of the restaurant - which was very unpleasant to assist to. The food was good, tasty and in generous portions (I would just not recommend the Prosciutto di Parma, as didn’t taste so fresh) - also, we were a little disappointed about the menu (we were expecting more choices). Prices are in within London average, a little expensive in my opinion for certain dishes.”
“Gloria has gorgeous interiors, and makes for a great dining setting. Staff were helpful, guiding us to choose the right portion sizes for our table. As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The starters were ok, and the tiramisu at the end was delicious. However, the pasta mains really let the meal down. The Pasta alla Norma was noticeably undercooked, and we also tried the truffle pasta, which was surprisingly bland and fell short of expectations.”
