Rosario and Pasquale have brought Naples into the heart of New York to make you experience a one-of-a-kind taste: to taste the true Neapolitan pizza. Forget all that you have known about pizza so far. At Ribalta the ingredients are all the Neapolitan ones: from the flour used for the dough, to natural yeast, to tomatoes, to Buffalo-milk mozzarella from Campania. For those who were born and raised in Naples, pizza is not just food, it is an experience indeed which has that original, true taste. People working at Ribalta are extremely traditionalist as far as the dough is concerned: Pasquale only uses the mixture of flours for pizza certified by the Italian flour mill “Le 5 Stagioni” and the natural yeast coming from Italy, which makes pizza light and easy to digest. Toppings, instead, are very fanciful and delicate in order to cater to the different customers’ tastes. For this reason, our menu also boasts – besides the traditional pizzas – unusual combinations; customers can also ask for customized pizzas, even putting together the ingredients of their own pizza.
“The atmosphere is amazing, they had jazz music playing and little lights on tables. A lot of traditional Italian dishes and the food came pretty quickly. The servers were very attentive. Would definitely come again.”
“$19.90 lunch special! Amazing sit down lunch at an affordable price. Amazing capriciosa pizza! I leave off the mushrooms and it is so delicious. They had a great lunch special that includes the pizza and the best arugula salad I've ever had. $19.99. Monday - Thursday. Best deal in the city. Friendly service. It was a wonderful afternoon. Look forward to returning.”
“Fantastic pizza! Ribalta is a must-visit if you like Neapolitan pizza. I ordered the Nobile and was a bit more expensive comparing to their other pizzas but it was worth it. This is a popular spot so make sure to have reservations.”
“We visited Ribalta for valentine’s dinner and it was absolutely great experience, upbeat vibe, delicious food. Since valentine dinner- they gave us champagne and rose as soon as we entered. That definitely put the cherry on the whole experience. We got pizzas and croquettes. Truffle pizza and pepperoni pizza. I will definitely be back here. Service was great as well.”
“Tourist trap, for the price the food doesn’t match the quality whatsoever. Lasagna was under seasoned, pizza just regular bop nothing special, octopus was good but potatoes under were kinda meh… Delaroccos pizza in Brooklyn height is much better”
