“Service was top drawer. Frozen greyhound was dynamite. Bolognese was really good but the chicken piccata was outstanding. By the way the focaccia was great crisp cheese top and soft interior.”
“The exceptional service made up for the pasta dish, which unfortunately didn't quite hit the mark in terms of flavor. On the other hand, the salad was absolutely perfect. Thankfully, the great company more than made up for the disappointment.”
“Had a 9pm reservation and couldn't get seated until about 9:15 but they gave us a free appetizer to make up for it which was very generous. All the staff was very friendly, kind and not over the top. They gave us our privacy to eat and stopped by just enough. The vibe is great and its all booths except the bar and 3 tables. Its an upscale place but you wont spend a ton here, it was decently priced. The Spicy gemelli is really good, id just like it to have a touch more sauce and topped with Ricotta or a cheese of some sort but the sauce and pasta is good! The bolognese and the Meatballs are really good as well, and they have the best focaccia bread ever. Overall I give the place an 8.3/10. Definitely recommend.”
“Great spot to grab lunch. In all we had the meatballs, crudo, the combo, cappelletti, and the olive oil ice cream sundae. Meatballs had some great flavor from the lamb and the focaccia was soft and pillowy perfect for dunking in the sauce that came with them. Only pitfall would be the sauce was lacking in salt. Crudo had a great trio of fish with the standout definitely being the scallop, super buttery and went great with the capers. The combo sandwich was definitely a challenge to get your mouth around but once I did it was delicious, maybe a bit lettuce heavy but otherwise very fresh and well balanced. Only miss of the night was the cappelletti, pasta wasn’t quite cooked fully and the sauce was average at best and lacked a lot of flavor. Ended the night with the olive oil ice cream sundae which was delicious. Not only is there olive oil drizzled on top but the ice cream is actually olive oil vanilla ice cream so it’s an olive oil lovers dream. Add some pistachios to it and you got quite the good dessert.”
“The meatballs were tremendous and very fresh.. Especially with the Focaccia.. Very tasty.. My only gripe is that the Focaccia was cold, but taste is spot on. We also had the steak which was good. The sear on it was great and all, but there were a couple of pieces of steak that were more salty than others.. Personally, the Green Salsa Verde hurts the dish more than adds to the dish, but the person I was with said otherwise. The carrots with the Steak were good though. The Al Limone pasta was a miss unfortunately. Very simple pasta and 3 decently sized shrimp.. Not worth the $28 price tag.. Chicken Piccata was very good.. Highly recommend that dish.. The chicken was soft and succulent. Wine was good too”
