The warm atmosphere and attentive service make you feel like you’re dining in a family-owned trattoria in Italy. A fantastic place for anyone who appreciates high-quality ingredients, classic flavors, and exceptional hospitality. Their new cocktail menu features some of the finest and well crafted options you can desire”
“This was hands down one of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had. The pizza and pasta were exceptional, showcasing clean, authentic flavors without any unnecessary frills. The Pizza Ai Funghi (roasted mushroom pizza) was surprisingly simple yet incredibly balanced—the rich flavor of the mushrooms paired perfectly with the creamy, milky notes of the cheese. As for the Pomodoro Pasta, they used a blend of three different tomato sauces with fresh basil. It was so light and savory that I ended up using my bread to scrape every last drop of sauce off the plate. To top it all off, the Americano was the perfect finish. It was smooth with a subtle acidity that felt incredibly comforting. A truly satisfying meal from start to finish.”
“I had a team lunch right at opening time (11:30 AM), so it was dead. Service was amazing and attentive as we were the only ones there. They changed our plates so many times. From the lunch menu, we ordered everything to share: calamari, arugula salad, polpo (squid), pizza, 2 pastas, and 3 desserts (tiramisu, pumpkin sorbet, and panna cotta). Everything was tasty. Most notably, I really enjoyed squid, pumpkin ice cream, and panna cotta. So refreshing!”
“Following the Michelin Guide, and left disappointed. Perhaps the recommendation raised our expectations too high — but either way, the experience didn't deliver. We came for lunch on a weekend and were seated directly next to a large family party of 15–20 people celebrating Mother's Day. Loud, lively, lots of children — not exactly conducive to a relaxed meal or conversation, and any sense of ambiance was gone from the start. We ordered two pizzas to get a feel for the menu. They were mediocre at best — the dough dry and hard, most likely overcooked, closer to a dried-out cracker than a proper crust. We had to specifically ask for olive oil; spicy olive oil wasn't available at all. After that, we had no appetite to explore the rest of the menu. The mains may well be better — but an Italian restaurant has to be able to make a decent pizza. This one couldn't, at least on the day we visited. We don't plan to return. In the greater Los Angeles area, there are far worthier options.”
“For an almost $230 meal I would have rather of gone to Mastros. The portions were small but the food was good for the most part, the side of potatoes were nothing special- similar to breakfast potatoes something like rosemary thrown on them would have been nice. The pasta was maybe four bite sizes. We came in for our anniversary and the best service we got was from the sweet hostess (who did forget to give us menus) and the busser who was pretty attentive . Our server asked how our food was when we were already done.. She was really sweet , we were just her only patio table so we weren’t much of a priority. Disappointed to be recommended this place by a local.”
