“A few us had lunch at Joon today and enjoyed a variety of dishes. We asked to split an order of pistachio soup into 3 servings and the waiter accommodated our request. It was delicious and tasted better than I thought it would. I had the wagyu kabab with cucumber salad which was delicious too.The chocolate and kataifi pie was super good with a layer of pistachio and chocolate and the service was great, attentive and helpful. I will definitely be back to enjoy more dishes.”
“Persian cuisine in an elegant setting. We arrived at 5:30 and the place was relatively empty. Although they offered valet parking, there was sufficient spaces close by. We were there to celebrate a birthday and it was our first time at Joon. The hummus with the roasted vegetables was amazing. I have the gormeh sabzi which was a perfect tip for my taste. The preparation and the balance of flavors is probably hard to duplicate. One of our parties have the duck fesenjoon. It was a great amalgam of flavors but a little sweet for my taste. But he enjoyed it immensely. My wife had the harissa roasted chicken. It was so good that she attempted to replicate it when we got home. It is a bit pricey for an average night out. Nevertheless, a great meal is a legitimate reason to splurge. We will be back By the way, by the time we left the place was packed”
“Everything we ordered was delicious. My favorite was the branzino, would definitely recommend it. The sauce in the duck fesenjoon was great, but overall would have liked a slightly bigger portion of duck. The crispy rice was quite unique. I thought it was worth the $6 to upgrade from white rice to the sabzi polow rice. Very flavorful and went well with the entrees. We came as a walk-in and were seated at the bar. Probably need a reservation to guarantee table service.”
“Went to Joon Restaurant for lunch and had a really nice experience. The food was delicious and the service was good. One thing to keep in mind: if you ask for extra condiments, like hot sauce, there is a separate charge for it — nothing is complimentary. I especially loved the Kashke Bademjan, which reminded me of a flavorful baba ghanoush. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely visit again!”
“Absolutely wonderful experience! We had a late brunch with my in-laws and their extended family yesterday and it was fabulous. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful. Everything was spectacular. My favorite was the French Toast, but the Dango was particularly loved by all! Most notably, our experience was enhanced by the manager, Gerard. He was so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions and help us make our dining decisions. We truly appreciated his kindness! Our family is so excited to come back for another fantastic meal.”
