La Pecora Bianca (“the white sheep”), offers a relaxed, all day dining experience with approachable, quality Italian food, in a stylish and comfortable setting. We take Italian food back to its roots as a local and seasonal cuisine, with a menu that centers around house-made pastas and modern takes on classic Italian fare. All of our pastas, including our signature rigatoni vodka, gramigna, and tagliatelle bolognese, are made daily in-house. Our drinks are inspired by the tradition of aperitivo hour on the ‘Piazza’, and feature the La Pecora Rosa organic rosé, an extensive selection of spritzes and negronis, and signature cocktails built around Italian Amari. For us and our guests, Italian is not just a cuisine, it’s a way of life: a social ritual centered around food and drink that makes every day feel a little more fully-lived.
“Celebrating my friend’s 60th birthday at La Pecora Bianca NoMad was an absolute delight! We started with the whipped ricotta with truffle honey, which was incredibly delicious, followed by their amazing Caesar salad. The highlights were definitely the outstanding homemade pastas—the rigatoni vodka and campanelle al limone are must-tries. Our server, Jenny, was wonderfully pleasant and informative. To top off a great night, the manager, Alex, surprised us with their amazing tiramisu. I highly recommend visiting this location!”
“What an amazing dining experience! The steak was absolutely outstanding — without a doubt one of the best steaks I have ever had in my life. It was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and unforgettable. Everything else we ordered was equally delicious and beautifully prepared. A special thank you to the bartender, who was incredibly attentive, professional, and friendly throughout our visit. His excellent service made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every detail reflected great care and hospitality. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional food and service in New York.”
“We initially assumed La Pecora Bianca might be one of those restaurants that caters mainly to tourists because of its location and popularity. We couldn’t have been more wrong. What started as a convenient stop turned into a good surprise of our trip. The food was consistently good, fresh, flavorful, and well executed. Every dish we tried was spot on. The service was equally enjoyable—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, creating a relaxed atmosphere that made us want to stay longer. The restaurant strikes a great balance between quality and accessibility, making it the kind of place that works whether you’re looking for a casual lunch, a relaxed dinner, or simply a good meal while exploring the city. A very pleasant surprise and definitely somewhere we’ll happily stop again the next time we’re passing through NoMad.”
“I was really pleased with my whole experience here. The service is top notch, especially for a bigger restaurant, and the food is fantastic. The whipped ricotta and meatballs were the standouts to start. The gem Caesar salad was solid too, crisp and fresh. The local burrata was OK. You really can’t go wrong with the vodka rigatoni, and it’s worth paying extra to add burrata. That ended up being one of my favorite dishes. We finished with the olive oil cake and I’d for sure get it again. It was super moist with just the right level of sweetness. Let me know if you want a slightly shorter version or one with a bit more critique mixed in.”
“All I'm saying is? You need a massive sheep tiramisu in your life. I would come back here for that dessert ALONE! Such a cute spot for a date. With that said, the pasta on the menu is surely a hit too. Hearty and full. Very flavorful! My favorite was the Gramigna. The pasta shape was so fun, and the sausage was soooo tasty. Not too salty. However, a big pass for me was the Brussels Salad. Lacked flavor and overall enjoyability...”
