“Overall, great experience and a great place for a large group dinner. We had 10 people total. Fun, dazzling atmosphere. Delicious, unique flavors. One of my guest’s food didn’t arrive until we had all eaten, but our waiter was so apologetic and rallied. He was also incredible with the way he entertained us! He put on quite a show. I’d recommend eating here.”

“I was in San Fran for a conference and craving a good ol' chicken Caesar wrap... I was wanting to Door Dash, and had a million options. So, naturally, I went down a rabbit hole. After some fairly extensive research, Joe's looked like the spot for me. It hit the spot! The lettuce was crunchy, the ratio of chicken, dressing, etc was great and it was a good portion. The chips that were crispy were good, but I had a good bit that were soggy. Either way, that's not what I was after, so I didn't care so much. My husband got a bbq chicken pizza that I forgot to photograph, but that he really enjoyed and I am a fan of cold pizza and enjoyed a slice the next morning.”

“Here at the bar for a beverage and small pasta tasting. Very impressed with this place. Our bartender was busy, but super conscientious. She was helpful and thoughtful. The pasta was excellent and a great portion size. The flavors were on point.”

“We visited Little Original Joe’s and had a truly wonderful experience. First of all, the service was absolutely outstanding. Our server, Ben, was incredible — warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Everything was smooth and pleasant from start to finish. We even asked him for some recommendations around San Francisco, and he kindly answered all our questions and gave great advice. We also want to mention the manager, Jarred — such a great guy. He came over to chat with us, made us feel very welcome, and took the time to answer our questions. That level of hospitality really stands out. As a lovely compliment from the restaurant, they served us their house-made chips, which were absolutely delicious — simple, fresh, and a very nice touch. As for the food: – the tomato soup was amazing, rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced – the Caesar salad was a big hit with my other half, and when I tried it — wow, really good – my vodka pasta was tasty, no complaints at all – however, the “Marry Me” pasta my other half ordered was even better — truly exceptional The restaurant itself is very clean, bright, and well maintained. We loved the high ceilings and the overall atmosphere — comfortable, welcoming, and stylish at the same time. Overall, this place delivers excellent food and top-level service. Everything was on point. We would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be coming back.”

“Good, but not great. The food was solid overall, but I’ve definitely had better at the Westlake and North Beach locations. We ordered pasta and pizza. The pasta was good and flavorful, but I wouldn’t order the pizza again. The atmosphere is trendy and nice, making it a fun spot for a night out. That said, I was disappointed with the service logistics. We had a reservation but weren’t seated until 20 minutes after our scheduled time. On top of that, the hostess informed us before we even sat down that we had a 1.5-hour time limit, which didn’t feel very welcoming. Overall, it’s a decent experience, but I’d probably choose one of the other locations next time.”
