“Excellent food and service, really excited to see how this grows. Edamame and the Egg Drop Soup are great starters - thought I’ve had edamame every which way and yet this is both different and great. Fish was high quality - love all the different menu combinations. Not one to make google reviews, but we will absolutely be back. Obviously not Tatsu/Shoyo - they’re positioned a little differently but I enjoy this in a different way and about as much.”

“I absolutely loved Neighborhood Sushi! It was so good that I went twice in my first week. The food was fresh, delicious, and every dish we tried was amazing. A special shoutout to Leo, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly helpful, gave fantastic recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed. I also celebrated my birthday there, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel special. Their hospitality made the celebration even more memorable. “Neighborhood Sushi is an incredible addition to the Dallas dining scene. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Everyone was so welcoming, attentive, and our server helped recommend a few dishes (which were absolutely great recommendations). We started with the Bird’s Nest Salad, which was fresh, crisp, and full of flavor, perfect way to kick off our meal. We also tried the oysters, and they were incredibly fresh, clean-tasting and a great start to the seafood selections. The amberjack nigiri was exceptionally fresh with a clean, buttery flavor that really showcased the quality of the fish. We also tried the Snow Crab and Fatty Tuna hand rolls, both were outstanding, beautifully presented, balanced, and packed with flavor. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish that comes out of the kitchen. It’s exciting to see a restaurant open with this level of quality right out of the gate. If you’re looking for fresh, thoughtfully prepared sushi and a great overall dining experience, Neighborhood Sushi is absolutely worth a visit. I will definitely be back to explore more of their menu!”

“Casual and friendly sushi restaurant in shops of highland park. The main entrance is through the east parking lot. Drinks were delicious, all sake based (not a full bar). The nigiri were very tasty (the rice was v flavorful) and even featured a section for vegetable nigiri. Handrolls were shaped like a taco rather than cone shaped, accommodating more rice and fish. Their tempura was perfectly fried and had two great dipping sauces, one the traditional with daikon radish and the other a spicy aioli. The yellowtail scallion roll was amazing - served with ponzu sauce. Desserts were also unique and delicious, both the mochi donuts and super fun kakigori! Definitely going back!!”
