“Our first time to Ocean 44. I’ve already thanked our friend for the recommendation. We were seated promptly (before our reservation time). Staff was friendly, server Katelyn was delightful, very knowledgeable about the menu and off-menu items, gave very good recommendations. Food was fabulous, fresh, served hot. Good wine list. Nice touch with birthday card and beignet desert. Very nice ambiance.”

“Such a great spot to celebrate with friends! We came here after closing a deal, and the team made it feel extra special from the moment we arrived—so friendly and genuinely attentive. What really stands out is the attention to detail and the quality of both the meat and seafood—everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. It’s easily one of our favorite places in Scottsdale. And the Ferrero dessert… wow. Truly one of the best desserts I’ve ever had—absolutely unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Ocean 44: An incredible atmosphere and fresh seafood This place truly impressed me. The design is stunning, and the wine selection is absolutely insane! Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh. I especially loved the unique touch with the curtains. One moment you're enjoying a romantic vibe, then the curtains open, the light shifts, and you feel like you've been transported to a completely different space. It’s a very cool experience! The staff is professional and welcoming. Can't wait to go back.”

“My wife and I reserved a table for 1600 which is the same time it opened. Unfortunately we made it there early and no accommodations were offered for us to enter prior to the start time. This is Arizona. Although my AC works, I would prefer waiting inside. Overall, I was pleased with the steak and found it comparable to other fine dining restaurants from other states. The sides were good but I did not experience a wow factor. For reference, I tried the prime meatballs and sweet potatoes. My wife and I both enjoyed the decor of the restaurant as well as our server, Daniel. Notably, the music selection playing over the sound system was palpable but unsure if it really fit in the atmosphere. Despite a less than perfect review, I would certainly revisit this restaurant. I would certainly recommend for special occasions and date night.”
