“Ocean 48 didn’t just serve dinner, they orchestrated a full-blown seafood symphony with a side of financial irresponsibility and zero regrets. 🦞✨ The moment we walked in, I knew this place was fancy because the lighting made everyone look like they’d just finalized a real estate deal or survived a Bravo reunion episode. The indoor pool situation? Completely unnecessary. Completely iconic. I spent half the night debating whether I was there for dinner or being recruited into a luxury villain organization. The seafood tower arrived looking like Poseidon himself had curated it. Lobster, king crab, shrimp, oysters… honestly, if the Titanic had stopped here first, history would’ve gone differently. The crab legs were so massive they looked like they paid property taxes. Then came the steak. I’m pretty sure I blacked out briefly after the first bite. Tender, perfectly cooked, dripping in buttery excellence. The asparagus stood there trying its best to make the plate look healthy, which I respected. And the dessert? Listen. Whoever approved serving a warm cinnamon roll buried under what appeared to be three pounds of fresh whipped cream deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. I would absolutely fight a family member over the last bite. Cocktails were strong enough to make me consider texting people I absolutely should not text, which is the hallmark of a quality establishment. 🍸 Service was flawless. Water glasses refilled before I even realized I was thirsty. Staff treated us like we were celebrities, despite me aggressively cracking crab legs like a raccoon in formalwear. 10/10 experience. Ocean 48 is where you go when you want to feel expensive, overfed, emotionally supported, and lightly seduced by shellfish.”

“Our absolute best all-time restaurant experience. It's a stunning restaurant with excellent service, excellent food, and great portions as well, which was lovely. Such creativity in the flavors and the presentation of the dishes made the evening so delightful. We loved the wagyu filet! And the corn creme brulee is absolutely divine. The bacon tower is also delicious but very filling, so beware you have enough room left for your main course!”

“My firm came to Ocean 48 for a planned lunch for 20. It did not disappoint. We've been to Maestros Ocean Club, Ruth's Chris, Eddie Vs, others that I just can't remember the name of because there was no comparison. Everything set in front of us was excellent, from the lobster roll to start to the peanut butter pie at the finish. I had the 12oz filet, literally cooked to perfection. Sides were shells, corn creme brulee, potato au graitin, and mushrooms. Everything was INCREDIBLE. We can't wait to come back. Also their service 10/10. Thank you for an amazing time Ocean 48. Also shout out to Tabitha who provided wonderful service and anticipated our every need so impressively.”

“I would have given Ocean 48 a perfect 5-star rating if we had been seated at one of the beautiful poolside tables from the start instead of having to ask to be moved. We were initially placed at an awkward table tucked away from the rest of the dining room, which was disappointing since this was a very special celebration for my nephew, who had just officially become a doctor. I wanted the evening to feel as memorable as the occasion. Thankfully, the staff was accommodating and moved us to a lovely table by the pool, which completely changed the atmosphere. From there, the experience became much more enjoyable. The service also seemed to improve, especially after we ordered the Wagyu Tomahawk - the most expensive steak on the menu - along with several other dishes to celebrate. The oyster and shrimp appetizer was good but didn't particularly stand out. The Wagyu Tomahawk, however, was absolutely outstanding and the highlight of the meal. My nephews loved it! The side dishes were decent, although we've had better at other high-end steakhouses. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary dessert they brought out to congratulate my nephew on becoming a doctor. It made the celebration even more special. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend Ocean 48 for special occasions. The food and drinks are definitely on the expensive side, but it's a beautiful place to splurge when celebrating life's biggest milestones.”

“I visited Ocean 48 at Fashion Island, and overall it was a mixed experience. The atmosphere, vibe, service, and management were all very good. Our server was attentive, professional, and the staff handled everything politely throughout the night. We started with the Rockefeller oysters, which were creamy and really good, and the seafood tower was also very fresh and enjoyable. The restaurant definitely has a great ambiance and offers more than just a steakhouse experience. However, the steak itself was disappointing, especially for a restaurant at this level. I ordered it medium rare, but the first steak came out unevenly cooked — part medium and part well done. The second one came out too rare. They ended up making it three times, and even after the third attempt it still wasn’t exactly right, but at that point I was hungry and decided to eat it. I do appreciate the effort from the staff and management, and the overall experience was still enjoyable because of the service, seafood, and atmosphere. But for a high-end restaurant, I expected much better consistency when it came to the steak preparation.”
