“Lovely meal selections. Incredible service. Great staff. Food was delicious. The artichoke dip was sooo good, gooey, and mouthwatering. The steak was cooked to perfection. However I do wish that the booths and chairs across them were at the same height as it lead to a funny moment sitting down across my +1 and seeing a significant height difference haha.”

It’s the kind of service that looks effortless because they’ve clearly worked to make it that way. The menu is genuinely vast, and that’s not a complaint. You’ve got your USDA Prime steaks served on hot cast iron, but also serious seafood options, tableside presentations, a cold seafood tower, koji-aged cuts, a New York Strip flight if you want to do a proper beef education in one sitting, and the legendary Famous Pork Chop that people make pilgrimages for. There’s also a full vegan section and enough non-red-meat options that you can bring virtually anyone and they’ll find something that makes them happy. Now, the price point. People hear “steakhouse” and immediately brace for sticker shock. Perry’s is a legitimate fine dining experience, but it manages to feel like a value because there’s real substance behind every dollar. Weekly specials like the Thursday Prime Rib and the Sunday Supper three-course pork chop deal at $49 keep this accessible for regular visits, not just special occasions. The wine list, which has earned Wine Spectator recognition every year, runs deep without being pretentious. If you’re in Austin and haven’t been, this is the one. “Had the symphony plate. The steak was grilled to perfection. Shrimp was a little overcooked but other than that. The food was amazing. Server was great. Bread and butter always a must and delish. I tried the 3 mini martini trio. That was a great way to try a few martinis. Overall great experience and good quality food. Oh yes and the loaded mashed potatoes were sooo good the menu says this serves about two people but I would think it serves about 3-4 people. 💕”

“This was my first time at Perry's and it was a great experience! The atmosphere is very lovely, the place is beautiful! Our server Jason was top notch, he was very attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks, were super tasty as well! The salmon was cooked to perfection and the seasoning they use on the veggies is a 10/10!! The pork chops were mouthwatering, best pork chops I've had! My husband had an amazing birthday dinner thanks to you guys!”

“My sister took me to Perry's for lunch while I was visiting her in Austin. We had the Pork Chop special, and the pork chop was huge! The mashed potatoes were really good, but I wasn't a fan of the applesauce on the side. Overall, the restaurant was great, and I'd definitely come back to try some of the other dishes.”
