I was particularly struck by the delicate tartlets, which featured such intricate details like the tiny, vibrant purple flower perched on top of the savory filling. The balance of flavors was perfect and everything tasted as fresh as it looked. I cannot wait to return for another meal soon.”

We chose the set lunch menu, and each course was beautifully presented, carefully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional from start to finish. As it was my birthday, I was touched to find a birthday card signed by the entire team waiting for me at our table. It was such a thoughtful gesture and immediately made the occasion feel special. I was also treated to a lovely birthday surprise at the end of the meal, which was greatly appreciated. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, warm, and cosy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and memorable lunch. Every member of the team was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Thank you to everyone at Pétrus for making my birthday so memorable. “Celebrated my birthday at Petrus and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the warmth was evident — a handwritten card bearing a proper wax seal was waiting for us, a quietly elegant touch that set the tone for the entire evening. The food is exceptional. We were on the Prestige and Discovery Menu, and the scallop dish was genuinely one of the finest things I’ve eaten! So good it’s apparently held a permanent place on the menu for 16 years, and you can understand why. When we mentioned the seasoning was a little heavy for our taste, the kitchen adjusted without fuss, the chef’s receptiveness was impressive and much appreciated. To round off the birthday celebration, we were brought a little trio of treats: a miniature chocolate mousse, a tiny madeleine, and a macaron. A generous and genuinely lovely gesture. Our server was a delight — entertaining, warm, and full of energy throughout the evening. The whole team made us feel genuinely looked after rather than processed. This was my first visit to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and it won’t be my last. Petrus earns its reputation entirely on merit. A special occasion done properly.”

“We went with family for a Friday lunch and had an amazing experience. It was the second time we went to one of Gordon Ramsay’s starred restaurants in London, the last time being in Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea. Although the one in Chelsea is a 3-starred restaurant, we feel like we had a better experience at Petrus from food to service. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by welcoming staff who helped us with our coats and belongings and led us to the table. While I had written in my reservation that we were here for the celebration of a special occasion, I was still impressed when they congratulated us immediately upon our arrival, which certainly showed their care to guests. The food was equally excellent - we were impressed by each of the courses. We enjoyed especially the scallop and the chicken supreme, as they are tenderly cooked. We also liked the dessert of Valrhona chocolate sphere. The main ingredient in each dish is well complemented by the seasoning and garnishes without its taste being overly eclipsed. Normally, we would find traditionally French cuisine a tad bit heavy in terms of the sauce and seasoning, but the flavour of the dishes here are so well balanced, and we definitely recommend it to those who prefer a lighter flavour. The service throughout the meal was also impeccable. The servers were very professional as they served the dishes in a synchronized way, a tradition we had not seen for so long even in restaurants in Paris. Generally, we enjoyed every moment we spent in this restaurant and would definitely come back!”

“I saved hard to come here and I am so happy I did. The service was exceptional and beyond anything I could have dreamed of. The staff were kind and thoughtful touches such as a birthday card and a cake for my husbands birthday. No pressure to purchase wine we didn't want or afford, and the food was just wow. We had the set lunch menu with additional scallops. Absolutely divine!! My photos don't do this place justice and if I ever manage to afford (or justify the expense) to go again I definitely would. Amazing flavours and popping colours too. Thank u for such a fabulous time petrus team.”
