“Lovely setting. Food is amazing. Would definitely return for amazing steak in Philly. Don’t forget to have a strawberry cheesecake and espresso.”
“This is one of the best steak houses I’ve been to in my 40 years in this earth. Service was special!! My Girlfriend had a wonderful time and everything we tried tasted amazing. The live music while you eat was exceptional!”
“Celebrated our anniversary at Rittenhouse Grille and it was phenomenal. Wonderful atmosphere with live piano music. Could not say enough words to do the food justice. Service was amazing too.”
“From the moment we walked into Rittenhouse Grill until the end of the evening, every detail contributed to a warm, polished, and inviting atmosphere. We started at the bar with pre-dinner cocktails while a pianist played and sang familiar melodies that instantly set a relaxed tone. Christian welcomed us warmly and made an excellent Martini. When we were seated, Michelle greeted us with a genuine smile. Throughout the evening, she struck the perfect balance — attentive and thoughtful without ever hovering. Her recommendations were spot on, and her professionalism felt natural and sincere. We began with Clams Casino and Escargots, both wonderfully seasoned, and thoroughly enjoyed them. For our main course, we each ordered the NY Strip, cooked to a perfect medium-rare. It was tender, rich, and buttery, with a true melt-in-your-mouth texture. Classic sides of Au Gratin Potatoes and Creamed Spinach complemented the steak beautifully. We finished with an indulgent Hot Fudge Sundae, a delightful throwback to a classic dessert done right. Toward the end of the evening, John stopped by our table to check in. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and his suggestion of a Bas-Armagnac and a 20-Year Tawny Port was the ideal way to conclude the meal. Bottom Line: A refined yet welcoming fine-dining experience with expertly prepared dishes and a staff that genuinely understands hospitality.”
“Visited Rittenhouse Grill while in town visiting a friend, and it did not disappoint. The ribeye was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We also enjoyed the jumbo shrimp cocktail, which was fresh and perfectly chilled, and the wedge salad, which was crisp, creamy, and beautifully balanced. The restaurant has a classic, old-school Wall Street vibe—dark wood, leather seating, and an elegant, timeless feel. Service was quick, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend Rittenhouse Grill and will definitely be returning on my next visit to Philadelphia!”
