“My sister and I stopped by Rumi's on a packed Tuesday evening, and we were lucky enough to snag a table within just five minutes. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding – every bite was worth the price and more. We ordered the grilled shrimp, which was cooked to perfection, and the jalapeños feta cream was incredible. The peach soda was the best I've ever tasted, and the chicken barg was mouthwatering. I'll definitely be returning to Rumi's again and again. And again the food was so mind-blowingly delicious that I'm writing my very first review - it's that good!”

“Rumi’s Kitchen is a good restaurant with decent food, but there are a few things that kept it from being a great experience. The biggest issue is how loud and crowded it is. If you’re looking for a place where you can enjoy a conversation during dinner, this probably isn’t the right spot. It was hard to hear the people at my table because of the noise. The tables are also very close together, so there isn’t much privacy. Even walking to the restroom was difficult because the restaurant was so packed. One of the dishes was also overcooked. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out much more well done than expected. The prices are on the higher side, so I expected a more comfortable dining experience. Overall, the food is decent and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but I think they could improve the experience by giving guests more space, reducing the noise, and paying closer attention to how dishes are cooked.”

“We decided to skip our usual spot, Delbar, and try Rumi’s Kitchen for a birthday celebration. Since the menus are quite similar, we ordered our usual dishes—but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations. The atmosphere was disappointing. If you don’t get seated inside, you’re essentially sitting roadside, which took away from the dining experience. There were even spiders crawling on our table—twice—and one showed up while we were speaking with the manager about our concerns. The food was the biggest letdown. The chicken kabobs were dry, the salmon was undercooked even after requesting it well-done, and the lamb was tough and chewy. We asked for it to be remade, but it came back even worse. In the end, we couldn’t finish most of the dishes we ordered. To be fair, the staff and manager did their best to address the issues. They were attentive, tried to remake dishes, and were genuinely apologetic—but the overall experience was still disappointing, especially for a birthday celebration. It was surprising to see how crowded the restaurant was given our experience. Perhaps it was just an off night, but compared to consistently great visits at Delbar, this one didn’t measure up. We’re still undecided about giving it another chance or sticking with our regular go-to.”
