“Beautiful tea room that is welcoming and bustling. Plenty of space between the tables for conversation and the view of the river is fantastic. Afternoon classic shakespeare inspired tea. Tea was complementary and you could try as many as you wanted. Lots of choice. They refilled our sandwiches and made a big fuss of us, very attentive and helpful. It was lovely. Great for a special occasion and very memorable. Would go again.”
“We came on a school trip with a large group. They accommodated everyone the atmosphere is lovely. Views of the river Thames, spectacular The food is amazing. We had a rose chart that changed my life. You feel fancy yet very comfortable. We had an injury. They took very great care of my daughter who twisted her ankle at the Globe Are they coming? Theatre tour. Riyas was the best server. He was kind, thoughtful and friendly. He knew exactly what we needed at every turn. Thank you, Riyas for taking such great care of us all!!!”
“we booked the upstairs area but didn’t realize that you could only order the breakfast menu downstairs, so we ended up sitting downstairs as we really wanted the full english breakfast. and i’m glad we did because it was absolutely delicious and just what we needed after walking around london for a few hours. the downstairs is just as nice as the upstairs in my opinion, you still get a nice view, nice seating area. nice decor etc!”
“Excellent location for a proper afternoon tea, including a large variety of sandwiches, sweets, scones. You barely finish part of the food, and a new plate is brought. Excellent service. Personnel is totally committed to high service. Riyas was super helpful to us and made our experience ine to remember! They also serve vegetarian varieties!”
“Nice food and great window view, very good service. Just had a little glitch at the end. We arrived too early than our appointment time, but they still nicely took us and assigned us a beautiful window view table. Service is really good, very kind and attentive for our asking. Thanks. Food turns out really good presentation and high quality too. Just at the end, when I was going to pay the bill, the waiter asked me "would you like to add a tip to the check?" This is what I have saw on Youtube that in London, some restaurants already added the tips in the bills then you don't have to double tip. Obviously this waiter is trying to push a double tip, there is no way, he didn't know there was already 12.5% Service Charge in the bill. But not sure how many guests noticed about this and double tipped, for that knock off one star from the review.”
