Temaki is a distinctive Japanese-inspired restaurant concept, known for specialising in hand-rolled sushi (temaki) and offering an intimate, chef-centric dining experience. Rather than conventional sushi plates, it centred around freshly made handrolls — rice, premium fish, vegetables and other ingredients wrapped in crisp nori that guests could eat with their hands. The restaurant featured a minimalist, almost kappo-style setup with a counter facing the open kitchen on the ground floor. On the lower ground floor there are few dining tables and also a sushi counter. Chefs prepared each handroll to order right in front of guests, engaging with them about ingredients and techniques, making the meal both social and educational. Alongside temaki, there were small plates such as karaage, sashimi and other Japanese small dishes. Drinks included sake, Japanese beer, wine and crafted cocktails with Japanese twists to be enjoyed in a relaxed but refined atmosphere.
