“I visited yesterday and honestly had such a lovely experience. I was sat at the bar and was served by Erik, who made me one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had, exactly how I like it, which made it even better. Erik really made the whole visit. He was friendly, attentive and easy to talk to, and created such a relaxed atmosphere at the bar. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it really shows in both the service and the drinks. Everyone else was also really welcoming and friendly. Nabin in particular was very attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. I tried the tomato soup and really enjoyed it, definitely something I’d come back for. The whole place has a cosy feel as well, with dim lighting and good music in the background which adds to the experience. Overall, just a really nice visit with great service, good food and a lovely atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back.”

“Well worth a visit to the one that started it all, somewhere I've wanted to visit for a long time. Relatively small by modern standards inside but that just adds to the busy brasserie ambience. Exquisite design and layout with the bar down the middle with counter seating and normal tables every side (toilets near the entrance). Service excellent even through they were busy. Food exactly what you would expect - we enjoyed the fish and chips and pan fried sea bass. Deserts the classic chocolate bombe, rum baba and creme brulee (although would have preferred this a bit more crunchy on the top). Its a busy classic London brasserie and I completely recommend it!”

“This was one of the best random decisions we had on a night out with the family on a Monday night, they were child friendly and wheel chair friendly. We were served by a kind and gentle lady named Claudia. She gave us the best customer services I have received in a very long time. She was so friendly, attentive. Kept checking on us and my niece even gave her a hug which is a big deal because she doesn’t like to interact with people. Message to Claudia, you are an amazing. Thank you.”

“We visited The Ivy in the West End and overall had a really great dinner experience. We were welcomed very warmly and seated at our table immediately without any waiting. We ordered starters, main courses, and desserts, and everything tasted amazing. The quality of the food is still at a very high standard after so many years, which is impressive. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but in our opinion it is worth it for the overall experience, atmosphere, and food quality. The only frustrating part was the service during the middle of the dinner. Our waiter disappeared without any communication, so we were not sure who was taking care of our table and ended up ordering from different waiters. Also, the food service was very slow. We did not expect fast food of course, but our dinner took 2 hours from start to payment, mostly because we were waiting for the dishes to arrive. Luckily we were not in a hurry. Reservations are definitely recommended well in advance as the restaurant is very busy.”
