All breads are baked in house and uses the best healthy, organic ingredients available. A short walk from Melrose and LA’s bustling fashion district, the cozy and festive atmosphere is enhanced by personalized, attentive service on either the sunlit patio or colorful interior of this family-run institution.
“We visited The Ivy with a group of more than 20 guests during the World Cup, and the experience was outstanding from beginning to end. Managing a large group is never easy, but everything was organized, timely, and seamless. A special thank you to our server, Jason, who was exceptional throughout the entire meal. He was warm, attentive, patient, and incredibly professional, making sure every guest felt welcomed and well taken care of. His positive attitude and attention to detail truly stood out. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was elegant and inviting, and the level of hospitality exceeded our expectations. On behalf of our entire group, thank you to Jason and the whole team for making our visit such a memorable one. We look forward to coming back!”
“Literally came here for the ceramics ..let me just say beautiful collection. Worth the trip. Mari was amazing. Came here 2x to get my ceramics fix and she always goes above and beyond. Got the classic Ivy teapot/teacup and saucer pieces and absolutely gorgeous. We will definately dine next time.”
“I don’t usually write reviews, but this one deserves it. Shoutout to Mario, his recommendation was absolutely on point. We came to The Ivy for brunch, and from the second we walked in, you could feel the difference. The patio is stunning, flowers everywhere, sunlight hitting the tables, it honestly feels like stepping into a classic Hollywood scene. We started with the French Rosé Sangria and the Ivy Gimlet, and both were exactly what you want for a brunch like this, refreshing, light, and just really well done. For food, we ordered the breakfast burrito and the eggs Benedict, and both were incredible. The burrito was packed with flavor and super satisfying, and the eggs Benedict were perfectly executed, rich, fresh, and balanced in a way that just hits. And I have to mention India, she made the whole experience. Attentive without being overbearing, super warm, and just made everything flow effortlessly. What stood out the most is that this place actually lives up to the reputation. It’s not just hype, it’s the kind of spot where everything comes together: the energy, the crowd, the service, the food. One of the best brunch experiences we’ve had in Los Angeles. We’ll definitely be back.”
“The Gold Standard of Los Angeles Dining As a luxury real estate agent in Beverly Hills, my clients often ask me where to find the true heart of Los Angeles elegance for excellent and fun dining. For over 43 years, one of my all time favorites has remained unchanged: The Ivy on Robertson Boulevard. Having been a loyal regular since they first opened their doors, I can personally attest that The Ivy is more than just a restaurant; it is an iconic LA institution. Whether you are looking for the best celebrity spotting in Los Angeles or simply a world-class meal in a beautiful setting, this is the place to be. Why The Ivy remains the premier destination for the Beverly Hills elite: Unmatched Atmosphere: The patio is legendary. It offers an intimate, vibrant garden setting that perfectly captures the luxury lifestyle of West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Of course their signature multi colored roses and IVY dishware. Consistency & Excellence: In a city of trends, The Ivy remains timeless. The food is consistently excellent, from their famous fresh seafood to the iconic Ivy pink box desserts. I have so many favorite dishes. The Gold Standard of Service: The owners, have cultivated a staff that feels like family. The service is discreet, professional, and warm, which is why the "who’s who" of the world, the entertainment and real estate industries choose to dine here. The Ultimate Power Lunch Spot: If you want to experience the pulse of the Los Angeles high-end market, there is no better venue for a business lunch or a celebratory dinner. For my fellow professionals and clients navigating the Beverly Hills luxury market, The Ivy isn’t just a recommendation—it’s a tradition. It represents the very best of what our beautiful city has to offer. Always consistent, always spectacular. Here’s to another 40 years of excellence!”
“Underwhelmed for the price, but still good! We got the lobster tagliatelle and spinach ravioli with sage butter. The pink sauce was rich and delicious, but the ravioli was again underwhelming. The service was very attentive almost to the point where we felt a slight bit rushed. For the price would love to see more, but the atmosphere is adorable”
