Tosca serves Italian cuisine with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients, using a creative approach that respects the great traditions of Tuscan gastronomy. Tosca combines modern style and elegance to create an intimate and comfortable setting. Tosca implements a dress code and proper attire is required. We do not allow athletic wear, shorts, beach attire, tank tops, flip flops, or torn or excessively revealing clothing. We reserve the right to determine if a guest needs to adjust their attire before being seated. We no longer offer valet parking, we do validate at dinner in our parking garage located on 11th St, NW
“We went here for dinner with our mother. We were looking for something quieter as she's hard of hearing. It was the perfect cozy atmosphere. Are waiter Joe was phenomenal. Attentive but not too much so and offered other suggestions on things to do around DC. Food was so tasty and portion size perfect. This restaurant is right around the corner from Ford's theater.”

Pro: - sommelier knows what he is doing - incredible diversity of pasta - awesome menu - Great wine selection Con: - atmosphere is ok because tables are very close to each other and God forbid someone stands they are on top of you and talking over you. But still not a deterrent. - parking in a local public parking The food was incredible and the service was top tier!”
“We went for my girlfriend's birthday and it was absolutely exceptional. Every course was world class, but the Carbonara stole the show. There are a few times in my life I've had dishes stick in my mind. I can easily recall details of the presentation, the smell, the taste. I get to relive it. “DID YOU KNOW that there is a chefs table in the kitchen at Ristorante Tosca?!?! I cannot fully explain how amazing this 2.5 hour experience was. From the warm reception at the front of the house to the friendly smiles we received when we entered the kitchen, this experience was nothing short of amazing! Michelin Star Chef Fortunato made us the most amazing 7 course tasting menu describing every special detail added to the dishes. John, the manager/sommelier stuck with us through the night. Overall this was the most special dining event with mouth watering food that I have ever experienced. The photos are of each course in order. Not all items are quite on the menu yet and they do not have names. Just get the chefs table and you will not be disappointed.”
