Traditional Tiki Bar with incredible fresh-pressed cocktails and Asian fusion tapas-style food. Like taking a vacation without ever leaving town!
“Being tiki fans, we were surprised to find this place in Bend. Rapa Nui did not disappoint. The food was great, they had a nice selection of classic tiki drinks and a few of their own concoctions that were well crafted and balanced. The decor was as you might expect at any top notch tiki bar. And something new. I've frequented quite a number of tiki bars but I've never seen this: non-stop playing of Gilligan's Island. At first I thought it was kind of odd but came to realize how appropriate it was to have those classic characters running around in the jungle of a tropical island. There was even a scene with Gilligan serving drinks to the Howells. Perfect. And if you're a mug collector, don't pass up the Rapa Nui Bigfoot mug.”
“My wife and I had a good evening there. Friendly staff, good kalua pork and fun cocktails. We had great service, but it wasn't very busy and I think if it got busy they could be overwhelmed. But overall a great place that I hope people will support. Also, we love the tiki mug we took home with us.”
“If you want a unique and themed bar experience try this tucked away Tiki Bar in Bend. I live nearby and consistently love to pop over for a bite to eat and drink. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, creative drink specials and amazing food. Come for the ambience, stay for the goods. For drinks, I highly recommend the Painkiller… a crowd favorite! For food, try the tacos… they rotate the menu a bit so they might be Korean or Jerk Chicken. The new coconut shrimp is also amazing. Do not miss this hidden gem.”
“Fun tiki bar! The atmosphere was fun and decorated well. Staff was friendly but seemed put out by our large group at first. They warmed up to us and were very talkative and friendly eventually. Drinks we amazing! Would definitely go again.”
“Visited last Saturday early evening. Easy to get into we sat at the Bar. As we sat down I heard the only bartender say to her coworkers “I’m done being nice”. We got water right away and were able to order drinks quickly. Jet pilot sidewinder Fang and a Three Dots And a dash. We have been to Tiki bars in SAN Francisco Vancouver Chicago Calgary Edmonton and a few Trader Vic’s The drinks here would be on the weaker end and less tasteful of any of the other ones we have tried and a bit disappointing. I also had to ask for a straw for my drink. We didn’t stay long enough to try any food and the overall vibe was quiet. There was a good selection of rums behind the bar though”
