“Exceptional quality, intimate and friendly service (one chef and one server taking excellent care of all guests). Wonderful omakase experience! This is probably one of the very best Omakase experiences I’ve ever had. Exquisite!! Ingredients are exceptionally fresh. Mashed ankimo (monkfish liver) hand-roll, hands 🙌🏻 down the best ever. oh and the miso sorbet at the end?? TO DIE FOR! Will come back in June 🍣”
“Amazing omakase experience! About 20 dishes, all fresh and flavorful. Highlights include the toro, uni handroll, and seasonal seafood. Perfect spot for sushi lovers who appreciate quality and detail. Highly recommend making a reservation.”
“We attended Ren for a birthday experience and oh what an experience it was!! We walked in and the decor made us feel a world away from Menlo Park. Everything from kitchen to bathroom was done to elegant Japanese perfection. We were served a 20 course meal that included caviar, eel, mackerel, snapper, octopus, conch, abalone, clams, tuna, “kinky”, ice cream, soup, crab….! And everything was prepared to perfection!! I don’t typically prefer octopus or eel, but the way chef prepared them…I would eat them 100x over! It was wonderful. Highly recommend this sensory experience (it’s not just a meal, it really is an experience). Chef and his staff were so humble in the service and presentation of the offerings and always happy to answer questions. We discussed sake, sauces, fish, swords vs knives, etc. We highly recommend booking your experience. Be sure to ask Chef about his “sword”.”
“A truly exceptional dining experience with its meticulously crafted 20+ course tasting menu! The chef uses the freshest ingredients to create a culinary masterpiece. They also go above and beyond to accommodate a guest with allergies by customizing the dishes to ensure his enjoyment. From the moment you’re greeted to the end of the meal, the impeccable service makes for an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Ren Omakase, for creating such a remarkable and unforgettable dining experience!”
“🍣 Good fish quality and very generous uni portions. 👨🍳It would be great to see more of the chef’s performance and to have a printed omakase menu, so guests can better remember each fish and dish after the experience. 🐯 Also, a special mention to the adorable tiger illustration in the restroom - so charming and made me smile.”
