“I really like their cider — it’s always a pleasure to try a few different ones before choosing a favorite. My top pick is the blackcurrant cider. We also ordered shrimp as a snack — they were tasty, though the portion could have been a bit larger :) Overall, a very enjoyable experience.”
“After a day of skiing at Lakeridge, our group of five stopped by Slabtown for what we called our “après-ski” time and it was a great choice. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was consistently attentive, and the music set a great vibe. Most importantly, the food and drinks were excellent. We tried a variety of dishes, including the Penne alla Vodka, Baked Brie, and a selection of pizzas, along with multiple cider flights (the special that day was Cider House Rules which was excellent!). Everything was delicious, and the ciders struck a nice balance between being experimental and flavorful. Highly, highly recommend a visit. I’d love to come back in the summer I’m sure it has a completely different vibe with the outdoor experience.”
“Driven by Slabtown Cider so many times, I recently went in and had a fantastic time. The food was excellent, their craft beer I have enjoyed over the years always good. Service top notch and friendly. This place gets very busy on the weekends. There is an inside restaurant and also a covered patio. What I do like, is that it is locally family owned, situated on over 90 acres. There are picnic tables galore and all kinds of room for families. It is also Dog friendly. They also have a great store selling their products, staff were friendly and helpful. My best recommendation is, I will return.”
“Fun place to enjoy a relaxed afternoon! The smash burger and oysters were really tasty. The kids' penne was delicious, and the portion was huge. We tried beer flights and loved them. There were lots of local options, and everything was super fresh. The staff were friendly, and the vibe was laid-back. The seating in the field could use some shaded areas. I'm definitely coming back!”
