Unique dining experiences for food lovers Inspired by the beauty, grace, and elegance of the unforgettable Sophia Loren, our menu is a tribute to her love for Italian cuisine. Just how Italians don’t stray far from what’s local and in season, our menu is designed with this same concept. Our chef maintains strong relationships with local farms and growers, highlighting a seasonal menu with a focus on local ingredients where possible and prepared with Italian sensibilities. “Chris G. was FABULOUS. He was very informative on all the meals. Great suggestions. He made us feel special (celebrating our wedding anniversary). Food was excellent (presentation, taste, ordered Whiskey Grilled Pork Chop and Halibut with a delicious Salted Caramel Expresso Martini) and great atmosphere. All staff very friendly. We will be back!”
“Went to Sophia & Spritz with a party of 10 for a friends birthday dinner. Our waitress Flora was amazing and personable. It was my first time there and it was nice being able to order and the waitress being very knowledgeable on the food and making me feel comfortable with what I was ordering. The table was constantly refreshed with iced water. The atmosphere was very pleasant, nice lighting, it was a bit loud due to the other patrons but still an amazing place. I got the meatballs as an appetizer and was not expecting the appetizer to be so big! It was phenomenal though! I then ordered the Atlantic Salmon and it tasted incredible! Beautiful flavour and very fork tender. The meal was expensive but definitely worth it! Would go again!”
“Sophia and SPRITZ at Four Points is a total hidden gem. Service on point, cosy vibes, and food that feels like true fine dining. •The duck confit? Crispy outside, meltingly tender inside. •The beef short ribs? Full of heart and flavour. • The Crab & Lobster Arancini actually has real chunks of crab and lobster — rare and amazing. And listen — even if you’re stuffed, GET the donut dessert. Freshly fried, insanely good, absolute heaven. Highly recommend!”
“We visited Sophia & Spritz last night for my birthday and overall had a nice experience. When booking the reservation online, there was an option to select if it was for a special occasion, and I did indicate it was my birthday. The host was very welcoming when we arrived, and our waitress — who was in training and being shadowed — was fantastic. Both servers were kind, attentive, and professional. However, at no point was my birthday acknowledged, which was a little disappointing since the reservation system from their website specifically asks. It does create a small expectation of some sort of acknowledgment. Overall, the food presentation was excellent — everything looked beautifully plated and thoughtfully prepared — my husband had the grilled whiskey pork chop and said it was delicious, very tender, and full of flavor. We also ordered the crab and lobster arancini. It was good, but the crab and lobster flavors were quite subtle and somewhat overpowered by the other ingredients. I had the California cut striploin cooked medium. The potatoes and mushrooms served with it were absolutely delicious, but the striploin itself felt like it was missing something. The more I ate, the less exciting it became. I also ordered the Mela Fresca mocktail, which was very refreshing and enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant was excellent — beautiful atmosphere and a great setting for a night out. Overall, we had a pleasant evening with great service, but a few small details could have made the experience feel more special.”
“I really wanted to like this place, but our experience didn’t meet expectations. The environment is nice and the space feels intimate and cozy. The servers were kind and knowledgeable when we spoke with them, though attentiveness felt inconsistent throughout the evening. The food was disappointing for us. The pasta noodles themselves were old, chewy, and undercooked. The steak was improperly cooked. We were told it was sous vide, but it arrived almost raw and clearly not cooked long enough, if it was cooked that way at all. To their credit, management did remove the steak from our bill. The drinks were also a letdown. They were mostly ice, poorly balanced, and the flavours just weren’t good. Desserts were mediocre and forgettable. We shared our concerns with management. While they listened, nothing else seemed to change or be addressed. One of the biggest negatives was the atmosphere created by the chef. His visible frustration with guest orders or modifications made us feel uncomfortable and had a significant negative impact on our overall experience. After the visit, I took a closer look at reviews online and personally found some things confusing. Our server had left a 5-star review, and other very positive reviews appear to include professional-looking photos similar to those used on the restaurant’s website. As a customer, that raised questions for me. Overall, I won’t be returning. The food and drinks were below par for us, and the menu felt uninspired, almost as though it may have been influenced by Googling modern Italian food rather than being thoughtfully developed. Taken together, the experience left a negative impression WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.”
