“Went to the Spindletop Restaurant now that it's reopened. Reservation only and spectacular views. Chef Hernan's opening menu was interesting and and worked so well. June will have a new menu. The menu has items that are GF and Vegan friendly in case that helps! Favorites: the ravioli appetizer was saucy and delicious. I could’ve asked for 10 more. The filet was perfect but the prawn dish stole the show. Spiced perfectly and completed with a delicious side. Espresso martini was silky and balanced. Nothing overpowered the other. Cannot wait to go back!”

“Took my wife here just yesterday. She has always wanted to go. Service, atmosphere, wait time were great. The food now was not worth the price. Steak was bland, my Halibut was overcooked. It was basically the entrees that needed work. Starter and desserts were good. Valet service is paid for as well. SpindleTop stands the back of the ticket, so that saves about $30”

“The food, drinks, and service were impeccable (except for hostess who seemed to be unhappy with her job) would’ve received 5 stars if they were more accommodating with the seating. We made a reservation in advanced & didn’t know you had to specify in order to sit by the window and enjoy the view. The hostess told us that the seating would be full so we were not allowed to sit there. Unfortunately that was not the case at all, place was so empty I felt that I had to whisper as to not be too loud. If they would’ve sat us by the view we would’ve stayed double the time and spent double the money.”

“Great views w terrible food 😍 found a cute gnat in my “salad”, when we told the staff a presumed chef just assured us that they ‘washed the lettuce’… extremely helpful. barely edible bolognese, and a nice stale dessert to end the night location location location”

“We ate here 02/13/2026 waited 2 hours for our food and now both me and my spouse have stomach issues from the food we ate there . Don’t get me wrong we loved the view the vibes . Food tasted good but not worth the stomach issues and the wait , I’ve been throwing up and haven’t been able to eat anything . (Btw me and my spouse did not eat the same meal prior I had food with my coworkers which they are totally fine) Would not come back”
