Storm Wines is a small, family-owned winery founded by Ernst and Brooke Storm. Ernst, originally from South Africa, is the winemaker, bringing with him a deep respect for site-driven, classically styled wines. Brooke manages sales and oversees the Storm Wine Club, and you can often find her in the tasting room working alongside her sister, Amanda Sorensen, our tasting room manager. Rounding out our team is Cooper Allebrand, our assistant winemaker. We focus on wines that reflect both their vineyard and the character of each vintage. Our signature varietals are Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, along with a selection of other favorites from proven vineyards throughout Santa Barbara County. We offer two tasting experiences in the tasting room: our standard tasting menu and a dedicated Pinot flight. We also offer a private tasting experience with a selection of current and library wines. Our tasting room is located at the end of San Marcos Avenue in the white building. Reservations are encouraged, but not required. We are family and pet friendly! “Such a lovely winery! The floral aroma outside was amazing. The staff/owners were so attentive and accommodating. Even so much as to invite our 2 kids to hang out with theirs. Shaded tables, wonderful wine, great service!! Will be going back again!”
“We really enjoyed our recent trip to Storm. Our pourer was very friendly, the ambiance was nice and it was kid friendly! While I wouldn't put this as a new favorite in town (that title belongs to Holus Bolus), I'm really glad we tried it and we'll definitely be back. With so many tasting rooms, you can't hit every one every time, so make sure you shuffle this in on your next trip. I thought it was a bit strange how they chilled so many of their reds, which is typically something you do when the wine makers don't love the flavor... but MAN their Sauvignon Blanc was WONDERFUL! It had a really unique, mineral taste that we simply had to buy! And don't get me wrong about the reds... they had some others later in the tasting that were also REALLY good. So. strongly recommend visiting Storm. I'm looking forward to going back and exploring more!”
“Great vibes ! They are a bit higher than the street and have this perfect sunny spot. We drank some nice pinot noir and ate the cheese and meet board. Enjoyed the sun, and it was perfect.”

“There were 4 of us in to taste Storm Wines and to enjoy Pony Espressosyv tacos. This was a tasty, delightful experience for all of us. Storm's summer wines were perfect...three unique Sauviongon Blancs and the Rose. All of them went well with the three types of tacos: Tri-Tip, Veggie, and super good Octopus. The tacos were so flavorful...just simply outstanding!!! Looking forward to another Storm tasting for us locals. 💜❤💜❤”
