“A small sushi omakase restaurant that can sit 5~6 people. All of the dishes were absolutely brilliant but I think the chef's strength really shines through when he sears the fish with wood. I've had meat bbqs before where they use special wood to let the meat absorb the wood scent but I don't think I've ever had this many at a sushi omakase. Everything is prepared with care and everything tasted absolutely amazing! I think this place goes into my top 3 omakase restaurant.”

“What an incredible experience! Chef Masuyoshi is a one man show, serving up unique omakase in Culver City. It was so impressive watching a true master at his craft serve drinks, make nigiri, and cook a variety of dishes. Every dish was unique in its own way. I especially loved his take on saba, tempura, and his “daily inspiration” which was crab from Hokkaido. Book a seat ASAP! You won’t regret it.”

“Attempted to book for my anniversary with my husband however date that I wanted wasn't available so decided to make it a group dinner since I saw it was 5 seats and invited my close friend. The minute you step in you feel like you've been invited to dine in Chefs own personal home. It's a one man show with Chef serving, cleaning and refilling our drinks but from the prompt / attentive service you wouldn't have known. Each dish was a treat and you almost wish the flavors would just linger longer, each dish came well executed and left you wanting more l. I would highly recommend Sushi Masuyoshi for your next dinner and bonus points if you have enough friends to fill up the seating!”
