We are inspired by the bold flavours and back alley BBQs we have encountered while hitting up surf destinations all over the world, and the tortilla is a beautiful vessel to bring it all together. We strive to make you feel like you are recharging on a beach every time you enjoy our food. And of course we love to support local farmers. It’s all about having our meat clean and keeping the oceans happy.
“We’ve stopped by Tacofino Mount Pleasant multiple times and keep coming back, especially for their happy hour. The sangria is one of our favorites, and the happy hour food is always super tasty. It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy good drinks, and have some delicious bites in a fun atmosphere. Definitely a place we recommend and will continue visiting.”
“Headed here on Friday and we caught happy hour. 3-6 Monday to Friday. Great value with $5-7 beers and most importantly $10 wings. The tacos as always were the star. Lemongrass chicken, pacific cod as advertised. Still great value non happy hour but if you can take advantage. Jacob M was our server - great job with us - thank you!”
“Decent gringo Mexican food. Good atmosphere, friendly service and food is Tex Mex style with a nice try at authenticity. It's not bad for what it is and the prices are reasonable. It's a good place to eat for a work lunch or quick dinner. I've been here about half a dozen times and the experience is consistent.”
“I have always enjoyed this restaurant but our last order was not edible. The cabbage was old and permeated a bad taste throughout the order. We ordered grilled lemongrass chicken and got deep fried rice in it and the taste of deep fried bad oil throughout the taco and burrito. Sooo disappointed! This was always a place to order fresh tasting food. Best part of the order was the quick deliver through Uber Eats.”
“Ordered about $75 worth of food for takeout (family of 3) on a beautiful sunny day and, after arriving, decided we’d rather sit outside and enjoy the weather, and some beer since several patio tables were completely empty. We even offered to order additional food and drinks to make up for the original takeout order, but were told the manager has too many “weird” rules to allow it. For a community restaurant in such a busy, family-oriented area, it was really disappointing to see such an unwillingness to accommodate a simple and reasonable request on Mother’s Day at that. Hospitality and customer experience should matter, especially when the restaurant wasn’t even close to full. Unfortunately, this experience left a pretty negative impression.”
