“Food was absolutely outstanding! We ordered the Carnitas Benny, chicharrones, and chorillana chilena—everything was delicious and full of flavor. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering how much most places have increased due to inflation. They also have a lovely enclosed patio, which is a great bonus. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming to my dog 🐶🥹. It’s rare to find a truly dog-friendly restaurant that also delivers such high-quality food. Highly recommend!”
“Went here for brunch on a Saturday, around 11am, the place was nice and not crowded, though it started getting more people after a bit of time. there's plenty of space to seat, the staff was really nice and attentive, got our order taken in under 5 minutes. the atmosphere was great, good music at a reasonable volume, easy to hear while being able to talk without raising your voice. For food we got the carnitas and vegetarian bennies, the cornbread was a 10/10 for sure. I got the eggs just a tad over medium so the yolk was not as runny as i like but tbh poached eggs are a pain to get right every time so that's fairly minor in my book. the potates that came with it were delicious and their hot sauce (actually hot) was great! that thing really made me sweat for a bit. Loved it! also got a side of chorizo which was pretty nice, though I believe for me it was a bit over, ended up quite full in the end. coffee was your average dinner style coffee, nothing special but also not bad. all and all El Camino's made it to my list of weekend brunch places.”
“Carnitas Benny 8.5/10 - potatoes were so crispy and paired perfectly with ketchup - wish there was more! the carnitas benny was flavorful and i liked how the flavours paired together on the cornbread would highly recommend if you’re in the main st area!! service was lovely!”
“The service was really lovely! I would say the food is decent but didn't enjoy all the dishes. The mole rojo was a bit dry, but the carnitas was pretty good! The papas chorreadas was yummy, especially the sauce. While the flavour of the queso fundido was decent, the cheese stiffened really fast, which made it less enjoyable to eat (too rubbery).”
“Start with the chicharrones, super crunchy, tajin-dusted, and way too easy to snack on. But the real star? The corn bread. Warm, sweet, and paired with that melted burnt onion butter. Their breakfast plates are hearty, flavourful, and hit the spot. • Chicharrones - fried pork cracklin', tajin dusted • Pan De Maize - sweet warmed corn bread, burnt onion butter • Argentino Scramble - two eggs scrambled, chorizo, chimichurri, pickled onions, serrano chili, home fries, served with sourdough toast for one 3 flour tortillas for the other • Chorillana Chilena - breakfast hash, two sunny side up eggs, home fries, strips of beef, chorizo, caramelized onions, tomatoes, jack cheese, chipotle sauce • Florentino Scramble - two eggs scrambled, spinach, caramelized onions, feta, home fries, sourdough toast”
