“Amazing food and service! We all really enjoyed our evening! The beef cheeks were so tender we just needed a spoon!! The bread so super soft and the potato with the aioli was definitely the best I’ve ever had! Paellas were top notch we were definitely scraping it with the spoon to get every bit! This was the best Spanish food we’ve had and We loved everything and are excited for our next visit! Thanks for a great night : )”
“This heritage house in Mount Pleasant used to be an Italian restaurant, but it has now changed to Spanish cuisine. I really love this home feel in a restaurant; it’s so cozy and warm. We skipped the traditional Paella and tried the Meloso. The texture is similar to risotto, but not as creamy or heavy—it was quite good! However, it wasn't as outstanding as the Iberian Pork Ribs, which were tender and incredibly juicy 😋. At the end, they even gave us dessert and a souvenir 🥰. I later found out the owner represented Vancouver in Spain for the 2023 Sueca International Paella Competition and won second place 🥈🎉. I heard this is the most prestigious Spanish paella competition in the world 💪👍”
“Super homey place it literally looks like a house from the outside. The croquettes were top tier very crunchy and cheesy filled with iberico and others with shrimp. The foie gras was one of the highlights actually. They make it in house and it’s very rich and smooth paired with house made bread. Not too rich and tastes very smooth and melted in your mouth. The paella was pretty good and they tried to make it hot so some of the bottom rice would be crispy but the execution didn’t quite match the vision. Nevertheless, it was a solid paella with lots of flavours including tanginess of lemon and meatiness from the rabbit”
“We had a very good early dinner at Casa Molina 😊 The cheeseboard was absolutely delightful and our fave was the arroz negro paella. Giving it a 4 because although the food was really good, the foie micuit and the valenciana paella wasn't really to my liking but maybe it's just me. Shoutout to the severs who were helpful (they would explain the food) and very kind. They also gave us a complimentary drink for their anniversary 🍷”
“Food was okay, definitely not wow'd Our server was also quite pushy We wanted to order the paella first knowing it'll take 30 mins while we looked at the wine and decide on other food but he kept insisting we ordered the items together. We ordered a bottled and he poured it quickly and asked us for another bottle, I mean we did get two bottles but I didn't like how he pressured us. He was loud and quite opinionated. Food overall was okay, nothing stood out but the spread looked good in photos! There are better places for paella in Vancouver though. Tax and tip in, it's about $100 pp”
